Ironic, considering Aruz is also the heaviest in its segment and also the least powerful.

personally

Aruz looks way better than our current out-dated Alza

even with the minor change to the alza, still looks cramped.

Make it 7 seater was a failure. It's size not suitable for that job.
But if don't carry people, that's serious of space....

I mean lets be clear about this. I dont think people who owns the X70 or even other SUV is complaining too much about being "Cheap on petrol" but the point i want to be clear is just to seek for confirmation if the fuel consumption is that high vs. the - comments where similar range of SUV CX5 can reached up to 600km per full tank. X70 is a 60L tank and so far on my first full tank drive, the distance only cover up to average 430km.

I initially assumed that the engine technology nowadays should have been better and much more fuel effective since SUVs are on demands but I could have been wrong. Also, I am not that of an expect-tech in cars and The X70 in general is still a good and comfortable car and MAYBE i'll evaluate this again after the first service maintenance and see how this goes.

Again, not complaining about the FC and this could just be a good information to be shared to others as comparison.

- Cheers Folks and thanks for those who really gives a good constructive feedback- !

Received the car this afternoon however i've yet to explore all the features since i have to fly to Kuching this evening.. Some of the pros and cons about this car:

Pros:
- smooth engine & gear shift very responsive
- good nvh
- sound coming from the built in speakers really gooding

Cons:
- soonroof shades very thin 1, can feel the sunlight inside the cabin
- voice command less responsive. need to raise my voice to activate the voice command.
- 4g connection sometimes disconnected easily.

The navigation GUI seems lacking a way to quickly save your current location. Example in Google Maps you can just press where you are and save the location, but that doesn't seem to work with the Baidu map app.

that is the limit for a small turbo engine to have power as bigger displacement engine.
it is good on FC if driving sedately but worst fc for another style of driving.

Yep. Power and fc quite hard to balance.
Like 1.0t or 1.3t. If drive smoothly without keeping the turbo kick in.. Fc good. If keep right leg... Turbo keep kick in gg fc

For the X70 owner, just to check and confirm. I got the premium version last week and I've observed that a petrol full tank Ron 97, can only last me less than 400km with really normal drive - non ECO mode.

This is my second week testing with another full Ron97 fuel tank. What's your average total KM per / full tank ? Just want to confirm if nothing is wrong with the tank as I've checked there's no leaking so far before i get Proton to check again.

thanks guys !

I noticed something wrong with the software setting, initially when is full tank everything was running fine (example: 9.3l/100km, the computer will show around 600++ km left before the next refuel)

The bug/problem occurs when the fuel indicator dropped till 4 bars, the computer WILL NOT calculate base on the actual range/speed.(will drop extremely fast and inaccurate)

This problem usually will continue till 2 bars. After 2 bars, the computer calculation will back to normal. (easily 100-200km lost from 4 bars to 2 bars)

Please change your screen setting where it show KM left before your next refuel, u should get the picture.

Anyway, please update me once you tested.

Thanks.
