Beware all guy!
Someone used my name to cheat osh79,
I have post my n93i to sell at lowyat, and osh79 hv and reply on my list ask for trade in.
The cheater was find out his contact number and sms him with 013-5736545 this number.
he say is my sub-number, then ask osh79 bank in to his bank account, and try press him bank in asap so say he need money urgent...

osh79 is trust on my name and had bank in to him.
today he call my number ask and tell me about this.

Beware to all, never bank in to other person with unknown phone number.

i'm so sorry hear about this. but dun knw how to help him.
so list this case on lowyat to let all lowyat guy knw.

some one has to take action. this 0125736545 fella has conned at least 3 ppl oledi.

tats why nowadays when u wan to put ur phone number...best is to put it on pm...dun put it on the tread...if not other ppl can juz call u and say tat he is the one selling the item....haiz....so many scammers now...

OK I noticed something amiss here.

zenong mentioned the number starts with the prefix 012.

Apis_LuaLua mentioned the number starts with the prefix 013.

So which is the correct one?

but why would people deal with another forumer who claims that he is the actual seller?? they could juz actually go and find the actual seller instead than dealing with the conman.

they didn't know or unaware of many con cases and scams? moreover, the buyer didn't fell suspicious cuz many people using two or more numbers.

this guy msg me also...saying selling 012-2222998..cause i finding..after that i called the number i know he not the owner and cheating me....luckily..beware!!!!

i guess conman topic should be pinned down or put on top of other thread everyday to prevent newbies or new forumer than getting con.it sucks when our hard earn money got cheated,every single cents is priceless.

Another case happened to fist_Aileron.. Fortunately, he PM me before he banks in the $$ for the conman with exactly the phone number 013-5736545. This conman is selling a PDA to fist_Aileron.

According to fist_Aileron, this conman used my nickname and forced him to bank in the $$. This conman is using Maybank with acc no. 112491049300.

Pls beware of him.. And for your safety, pls drop me a PM to check with me.

this is what i write to car_o_scope..hehe lazy to write back..hmm..i'm lucky i didn't fell for his trick..he's being persuading me for 3 days to bank in ASAP..luckily i'm bz studying hehe...i think he's rushing bcoz he was afraid car_o_scope pm me..hmm..how to deal with him eh..dunno to what extent this dispute centre can help..i suggest those wanna buy stuff from strange no. just search the number in dispute centre..

totaly a noob person to cheat. well he is using my account number to cheat. well i seldom sell phone so dun care.

then its better to communicate thru pm...for authenticity

now im confused, if they are using your account, then shouldnt u be the one getting the money? then u can just return the money to them right??

but then he did not deposit to my account?...well i am still wondering how it going to get the money
