Hey guys, I'm using MacBook Air and its using 45w adapter(magsafe 2). now that thing about to be ripped or teared due to its age. I want a new adapter but looking at the oem adapter, are they useable? those reviews from customers(lazada & Shopee) mostly are the one that what they felt after trying, once the item arrived their location but what about the risk? I've read before, years ago when people bought oem adapters and their logic board(motherboard) dead. do you guys have experience with such item?

I would advice you to get the original adapter from Apple. Gives you a peace of mind. Sometimes you may not know the reliability of the OEM adapter.

If can afford Apple products, should be able to afford the accessories and repairs. Lucky my 11" Air 2014 everything is still fine.
