There are lots of valid reasons for you to have a second account. Merely having a second account will not warrant a ban. However the same rules apply to every account - break the rules and you might earn a suspension or a ban.

...dupes are not illegal simply because you can't differentiate between a genuine new user and someone who (probably) got their main account banned but still itching to post.

Dupes are so rampant that a possible new user automatically is seen as a dupe.

So again, not illegal but same rules apply.

There are dupes that purposely create new account to harass, threaten, kamikaze, etc. Those will be dealt the same way as other users. Obviously.

It’s kinda remarkable they haven’t said a single thing about duping. I remember being one of the few to actually have a good legendary gun, it felt kind of nice.

Really kills enjoyment knowing how easy it is to get anything in the game illegitimately, I have no idea how it hasn’t done the same for these dupers. Like oh cool, you’re selling every legendary weapon in the game for caps, now if only you had something to actually spend the caps on. Warframe has this community of people aswell who rather do nothing else but grind in-game currency, but at least in that game the economy hasn’t crashed, and there is unique shit that’s hard to find.
I find zero appeal in constantly trading in Fallout. Even getting a mass amount of caps from trading with players is easy even with selling items legitimately, so I’m always wondering how these people with everything duped continue to sell shit.
