QUOTE(cryme @ Feb 18 2019, 03:38 PM) Why bother with Westworld or Titans reference in the first place? They are shows operate under different budget bracket than the Doom Patrol's production quality. Just saying...I have no issue that you are dunking the CGI quality but its "apples to oranges" argument. |

QUOTE(cryme @ Feb 18 2019, 04:34 PM) because the forummer is saying it's a TV series therefore the CG is bad, so im pointing out TV series can have good CG. Well Axia got four wheels and Beemer 3 series also has four wheels. To say they are the same, it's just wrong.Doom Patrol appeal to different demographic than a GOT/Westworld audience. The source material does not call for slick expensive VFX as the selling point is their weirdo alternative superhero adventures. For decades, they are better known as circus freaks equivalent of X-men. Don't expect to see polish character design and slick villain moving forward. Not saying you can't take them to the next level like Hellboy's poduction quality but DC's CW budget can only accomplish so much. Again you have the rights to dislike the CGI quality but do not straw man the context of your second posting. |

complaining the CGI were bad...
>generalizing all TV shows should've an on par CGI regardless of budget >is like saying a syfy direct-to-DVD movie should have the same quality of CGI as the Hollywood blockbuster kek logic This post has been edited by noir7559: Feb 19 2019, 08:21 AM |

Just when I thought it's gonna be downhill after the awesomeness of the first two episodes, episode three for me is the BEST one to date
