I don't own one. But, if I'm TS I would go ahead and buy one. If want resale value better buy gold bullion. Economy drop like Venezuela also still can use. But, gold bullion collection cannot show off. A Rolex on the wrist can help a lot in terms of people's perception of the wearer (not accusing TS of chasing that aspect). People seem to treat you better in certain settings. You wear and check the time also feel good. Knowing you've reached this far and has potential to do more. As for the value appreciation of the watch itself, I would treat it like a bonus if it does but wouldn't worry about it.
