Hi guys,

I want to replace my windscreen since it got few cracks already, been delaying it for quite sometimes now.
Can you guys suggest a good bengkel to do it. I will claim it under my insurance so the price doesnt really matter, just concern about the work quality...
I thought of going to Dr Cermin but I saw bad reviews about them here.

And if it covers the tint as well, can they replace the windscreen together with the tint?

If replace windscreen using insurance, why don't you go to Honda service centre? Yes, the insurance can cover tint as well - depending on workshop la. My insurance put tint insurance in accessories (extra cost).

Depending on your insurance policy, windscreen replacement can be covered.

Nearby KPJ Tawakal there is this workshop that specializes in windscreens, paid and under insurance. I won’t mention exactly the name as I don’t believe in online promotion, which any Tom dick n Harry can claim too provide great service with a net account, as I’ve seen too many unscrupulous people do.

But I will say if a shop food or business is good or great service the shop should be full of people/cars. You may even see super car changing windscreen too.... it’s corner lot, 2 shops. There are others too in the vicinity off Jalan Ipoh with good workmanship, service and price. But this one got super cars often changing glass there....

Check your insurance cover note. It will mention windscreen + tinting coverage. Else call your insurance Co to confirm.

Technically no. As it is separate device, not build in with the windscreen. When change, installers need to open n install back the box containing the wiper sensor. Some car lights sensor are at the dashboard below the windscreen

yea but theres some shades / custom stickers on the top of the windscreen for the sensors to place. not sure whether it is included or just a piece of windscreen.

Well I was thinking the same, just wasn't sure if they can do it there. If can then that would be better.
But logically they can right, they should have all their spare parts. Lol. sweat.gif

Most honda sc need times for them to order the windscreen. Bet most sc will hired 3rd party installer and bring them to sc for windscreen replacement.

That happened with New Era Kajang Sc

I already called and asked Honda sc, they said have to send to Honda body & paint centre.
So basically the procedure is to submit all the documents for insurance claim to them first, pay them deposit (refundable) and then only they will order the windscreen. So they will set another appointment for us for the replacement.
