Anybody have experience travel with ps4?
Do u hand carry or check in?
Any tips n info to share

How about x ray scan? Do i need to take out from the bag? Same as laptop procedure?

get those travel bag for ps4 , hand carry would be the best

better take nin. switch instead

just wrap it around with your clothes in luggage & put cargo check-in

it's not that fragile

save your hand luggage allowance for something more important

I have travelled back and forth with my PS4 pro in my check in luggage, I have also travelled with it being in my cabin bag, but I feel it’s an extra hassle to have to take it out when doing the inspections etc.

LOL, I've check-in stuffs that are a lot more fragile than PS4, all survived
you just need to pack it properly

IMO, not worth it to hand carry as it's bulky

should be same as laptop, since it has mostly the same parts as a laptop

Always hand-carry exp stuff.
I hand carried once - no issue.

KLIA - Switzerland - Doha - Iraq - then back to KL.
No issue through the check. Just messy to take out laptop, ps4, belt, wallet for scan especially when queue is long.

Monitor just inside luggage - pack tight with alot of clothes wrapping it. Not even a dent on the monitor.

The only airport that I dont recommend for ps4 are those from african region. Those guys will ask for bribe and money or possible hold your ps4 for ransom.
