Hello, I have contacted chicken pox recently (yeah during bloody Chinese new year) and I wanted to ask for advice on what to do during this period and whether my chicken pox developed well or bad...

The pictures may be graphical so I put a spoiler tag on them

Are those white pus on my face normal? Also some part have black dead skins because it was scratched? For your information, the first day I contacted chicken pox I honestly thought it was just acne breakout, so I scrubbed my face real hard during shower and used cleanser on my face. After realizing I had chicken pox I stopped scratching my face after that.

Also I may have chicken pox in my throat, seriously chicken pox itself isn't even that uncomfortable for me. I still feel energized as ever, but the one in the throat? ITS KILLING ME. It hurts me painfully Everytime I swallow saliva and I can't even eat anything, because it hurts Everytime I try to swallow anything. Is there anyway to help with that?

Is contagious, but it's not very serious. It's more of an annoyance if you get it.

For your throat, it's best to check with a doctor. But it sounds like an ulcer. Best drink warm salt water or eat only soft foods like porridge to minimise pain. It should go away on its own after a few days

Yours definitely does not look like 100% chicken pox. I think it might be acne breakout together with chicken pox? Majority acne...

My opinion only

Bro, take care and consult doctor if necessary. Dont scratch and make it burst.
If it is chickenpox with that size, it gonna leave scars. I had 1 chickpox on my abdominal with that size and I didnt take care if it. It becomes protruded scar. I dont know why.

Guys, I appreciate the concerns and the replies xD But the time this was posted was back at 02 February, I have fully recovered now haha

Unfortunately I did scratch some of them, and it left some scars. Will take moments to heal...

Honestly, I can see why you thought it was acne outbreak. When i had my chickenpox 13 years ago, i don't recall having the white spots...
