So far, i've come accross great deals for the Alpha,

twin lens kit at RM3199, with 8 gig memory stick free. its really a great deal, but with cash of course, if you want to do installment add in another 4%

i'm planning to get an Alpha soon.

could anyone post up pics taken with the kit lens or 70-300mm lenses? would love to take a look? i'm new to this and i'm still trying to understand how lenses work

well, that was what i was quoted, provided you pay cash , a real bargain, saving up for the Camera now

lol, exactly, thinking of getting it in December, any idea on how much the new model would cost? or when the new model is launching?

i just got myself a Sony Alpha A100 for RM2.5K,

2 month old camera, with a 50mm f1.4, kit lens and a 35-80mm minolta lens.

he gave me one helluva bargain lol. with warranty too

i got the AF 50mm KM lens from him, f1.4, here are a few pics i took with that lens, i'm new to the dslr thing, so comments and all deeply appreciated , the guy who sold it to me was a student and he used to work for minolta, so he got the Sony Alpha, didnt use it, sold it to me

Yes iw ent to the shop FOTOKEM opposite KFC as well, the guy who attended to me was Quan, he quoted me RM3,799 as well, and i asked him why KEY COLOUR was charging only RM3,199, he kept silent

call mid valley, then ask them for the phone number for KEY COLOUR, KEY COLOuRis on teh IT floor, next to SONY Centre

look for a lady named VIVIAN, she was the one who attended to me

i basically used an AF 50mm f1.4 Lens

I'm planning to get the 70 - 210 f2.8 lens, used it to take a couple of Sheila Majid's Concert, albnok pinjam me his one, damn shiok!

need to purchase a simple camera bag to hold my cam and lenses, the one i have now is a lil too small

anyone have any recommendations?

i'm using a simple cannon bag, not for SLR wan but it fits my SLR

yeah, any minolta lens can be used on a Sony Alpha as they took the Minolta and converted it into an Alpha, i'm using a 50mm f1.4 AF Minolta lens now, works like a charm

anyone uses Photomatix?

how much do they roughly cost? i know the Sony flash is about RM 1.1K if i'm not mistaken if you look in sungei wang
