these guys are crazy, jacking up the prices like that!  totally unscrupulous dealers, better to boycott them man!  even Rodimus also jack up another RM20...can makan dinner puas2 lor!

when i purchased my SW the rep in charge said she have just quarelled with scalpers who wants to buy 8 Sws....sets of 4 each ideally of which he and his girlfriend will purchase...funny thing they are not TRU starcard members and they signup immediately not knowing that TRU have put a limitation of 2 per each customer...so they ended up only buying 2 max...serve them right...

i think they mainly get info about the demand from forums such as ours and maybe transmy, and with the current enthusiasm brought about by TFTM, good business to buy loads at RM119 and sell at RM380!  more than double man...

but of course, i remember a time when TF toys were mainly 'restricted' to loyal collectors such as ourselves, when toy shops were maybe over run by excess stocks...those were the times!  the only thing to do now is, if i may suggest, maybe do some PM-ing esp among those who we really know have been here for quite some time and are real fellow collectors that needs a certain model to complete their collection.  i think those are the ones that we need to help by providing reliable and accurate info, and not those scalpers who are really making a profit out of it...

again, my 2 cents...

Was having a chat with my little sis the other day and we were talking about the TF movieline toys... My sis also want a Leader OP badly, but she's still saving up money to buy... And to my surprise, she told me one of her close friends runs a specialty toy shop (Sorry, guys, I won't tell you which one, too many scalpers around)... And this shop owner still have stocks for most of the movieline toys...

I have placed an order with him for Voyager Rachet, Ironhide & Starscream, Deluxe BB74, BB08, Barricade & Bonecrusher (All Takara version, but his shop also has Hasbro versions)...

The coolest part is this... I will get some discounts also becoz my sis is close friend with him... His retail price is not expensive, he is following market rate (unlike those fcuking scalpers)... And I get a discount on top of that!

Really need to thank my sis for this...

I hate the fact that we are actually releasing all these details cos' I know there's at least 20 Scalper idiots searching here now. They know the stocks are there  so they will go get it. We don't have the time to go there and so we miss out and then we have to buy the figures at sky high price! Stupid people they don't deserve to live !!!! (lightning strikes at them and they all die and go to hell)

so how can we ourselves disseminate genuine info to true collectors not to scalpers?

mayb i shd be like the scalpers and sapu the toys i see.leave no stocks for them to exploit then can sell to true collectors at RRP. or maybe a few RM extra for petrol..its time we true collectors work together to get rid of the scalpers..
