Pls recommend absorber for 9 year altis. Mainly for comfort. Budget 2k~3k

Just get KYB Excel G for the closest original feel. You only need around 700-800 bucks to replace all 4 pieces.

Got 2 options, locally made one and Japan ones. The Japan ones will cost double the local.

That's also a good option, good value for money, but a bit stiffer than normal and not available for many cars yet.

so the one i mentioned cheap is local one? quality wise could be a big difference

Japan made Kayaba usually are priced around 600-700/pair.

Can't go wrong with KYB shocks. Replacing the springs is a good idea also especially if they are really old.
