1) Do you find yourself doing something that is out of habit, as a result from being in jail for 2 years? (I saw on tv this one American woman who said after she's released, she even asked permission to go to the toilet from the waitress, when she dines at the restaurant)

2) Is every jail officer you call Tuan? or only the head warden? (Well idk the ranks and positions for jail officers btw)

3) Do you bathe with soap? or just water only?

4) Do ex convicts have this special bond brotherhood after released from prison? as in you would help each other out always?

5) If your cellmate lied to you about his crime, how the truth would eventually come up about his real crime?

6) Do you find yourself being more patient and not easily triggered by the littlest thing now?

7) What is this muster thing? kawat is it?

8) What do the wardens use to beat prisoners? I assume cota

9) When you got arrested, did it make news or at least the show 999?

10) How much weight did you lose? got six pack now?

11) How to be selected to be orang kerja?

Thank u TS and hamkarchan for sharing us your stories. The only articles i read about life in jail was in news blog something, not a lot of them out there.

I saw a cell drawing sketched from memory by namewee and some experience from Jamal Jamban. Jamal was infamous before and after ge14, when ts was still inside.

That jamal dude said that prisoners smuggle tobacco by actually eating it and shit it out. And then roll the tobaccoed-shit with paper and smoke it. I used to think that they swallow it in pure form wrapped in sausage casing bag like that.

I just cannot imagine the smoke smell man!

If Anwar was a decent man and if he ever becomes PM. he would do something about prison environment, be it food quality or anything else. he could no it now by whispering to Muhyiddin's ear or his wife I guess. where is the prisoner camaraderie?
*

He was vvip prisoner. We don't know if he ever experience the general population's jail treatment like ts did.

I agree if he ever becomes PM, he should do something to improve basic human right in prison

Even if he said anything to Muhyiddin, it's very doubtful the current PH gov now would spend money and manpower to provide more for the incarcerated. Even manifesto to the general public also not all can be delivered. No money maa

Besides, we know Anwar has more important thing to do for now. To have nothing and no one standing in his way to be the 8th PM. First thing first

What happens when there is water shortage? I read when an area got water shortage, it's the prison that the water supply will be cut first. How do you survive then? No bathing, drinking, washing, toilet flush, soaking maggi....or got water lorry coming in?

But dengar cases of people stuck in reman for years without getting charged, they stayed in lock-ups throughout? And so banyak time for police/court to keep on extending the reman?
*
I think i read earlier on this tered. Police can only extend remand maximum 14 days. After that, charge him or release him. The ones in police lock up are the ones max 14 days. After that, if person cannot pay bail or the charge doesn't allow bail, they would be transferred to prison but will need to wear different colour uniform. One of the reason they stuck in prison for long time because their court dates are still months away. Only after trial is over which sometimes can take years including pleading process, they are found not guilty so those times in prison must be one heck of experience. Innocent ppl who are poor and cannot pay bail are the most kasian. And if those ppl are found guilty, their 5 year sentence are counted since the day they are in lock up, not the day they get their sentence.

Bijan can have ppl donate to him, no problem paying bail.

Correct me if I'm wrong .
