QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 13 2019, 02:16 AM) Funny. Not sure who's the sales person here? Wait you got 500mbps for rm129!!!As far as I understand, all of us are users here. Yes, I do have UniFi registered under my name installed in my sister's house in Seremban while I use Infinite 150 in PJ. Just to clear someone's potential suspicion that all this while I fake my high speed Infinite 150. If Maxis can offer me below RM 129 for 500Mbps, then I will switch to Maxis. Their sales people have called me few times and upon hearing my current package - RM 129 for 500Mbps, free 600 minutes calls, Ruby and Aneka package, they hung up. |

QUOTE(crusher @ Jul 16 2019, 05:05 PM) Currently at 149 per month for unifi 500 plus rm 30 compulsory hypptv. Maxis 129 same sped jer..but 300mbps macam maxis 149 so cheaper than unifi so I think worth it.Planning to switch to maxis 500. Anyone successfully switch over paying the same monthly at 149? QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jul 16 2019, 10:43 PM) I suggest getting a better router. You mentioned getting a turbo upgrade, so if you want good speed on WiFi, you wil need to get a decent router, which will be pricey. Check 1st page, 1st post, green text, for list of recommended routers for your speed and other info. What is stb and which router you recomend if budget not an issue?I would recommend you going to TM Point and enquire about a contact renewal with STB and modem renewal. If you have Turbo speed, you will need to have a modem that have gigabit ports which can support the turbo speed. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jul 19 2019, 12:37 AM) If you want leading edge stuffs, better stick with ASUS or wait until the competitors are stable. Another thibg is wifi 6 not finallized yet I think so ur using the asus 11000 how izit? Some brands messed up new tech, abandon the product and release an updated version. I would say only ASUS and Netgear have stable Wireless AX today. Other brands still trying to figure out the reliability and backwards compatibility part. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jul 19 2019, 06:08 PM) Yup, it is not finalized but newer devices are supporting WiFi 6 lately. New laptops and the Galaxy S10 has it. Tq for info. Good to hear the incredible performance… any stability issue? if only tplink release theirs and a comparison is done for me to decide lol.Good stuff, stable and WiFi range and stability is the best in the class. Very similar connection quality to enterprise level APs. What you pay is what you get. |
