If renew contract 2 yrs and free upgrade from 100MBPS to 300MBPS I would click straightaway "click click click"

Would like to get advice, unsure if worth to change from 100Mbps (RM129) to 30Mbps (RM89).

This is my current package, contract will expire Oct 2020

So I am actually paying RM99 for 100Mbps. Can't really see any benefits to downgrade and extend 2 years except RM10 cheaper and the free 3 months. Hope to get more feedback from sifus!

It's tied in with a HyppTV Ultimate Pack, so my guess is, the price will stay the same for the pack regardless if I sign up for Pay for Nothing

Apologies, as I thought the Price Package for Pay For Nothing only applies to internet alone.
You are right, total paid for all is RM159. And I want to retain Ultimate, or at least Ruby pack. It's for my mother in law

My understanding before was either

1) RM99 (after perpetual discount) + Ultimate RM60 = RM159 (contract ends Oct 2020)

vs

2) RM89 (Downgrade from 100 to 30) + Ultimate RM60 = RM149 and renew another 2 years

Yeah, the thing to consider is saving RM400 for an additional year vs waiting out a year for lower price or higher speed/lower price for internet+HyppTV.

Decided to take the plunge and do the YEP, downgrade from 100Mbps to 30Mbps.
Went to the Damansara Uptown branch. Quite fast, about 30-40mins. Checked online already showing
the new plan

unifi 30Mbps - VDSL YEP 2019. So just 1 day before billing date just in time

Their brochure though, has an additional offer with HyppTV package not available to click online. Ok lah since I also using the Ultimate Pack, so save RM10 I believe since my previous was RM60. So total paid is RM139 for 30MBPS and Ultimate Pack

If you sign up for the YEP at TM Point, they will give you a slip that states when the service date. Keep that.

Just to update on my status, since not that many signed up for the RM139 package for 30mbps & Ultimate package

Activated on 15th Oct, online updated status on 16th Oct

Bill received 21st Oct, based on 16th Oct billing cycle. Bill is still showing RM89 for 30mbps, and RM60 for Ultimate without showing perpetual discount.
At least the YEP already kicked in.
Guess will only get to know how they will itemized the bill to get RM139 in Jan 2020.

Hard to sieve through the info like that. I am on YEP RM139 and 30mbps only also didn't feel like I lost out also, just have to restart from beginning and tough it out for 2yrs before even hoping got chance to go Turbo

Actually my transition was RM219 for 50mbps, and then opt out of Turbo to go for RM159 100mbps with Ultimate pack and STD20.
Maybe my mistake started from there before I had a chance to check out LYN.
That time already made complaint to MCMC that pricing wasn't fair, but their reply was you chose the 100mb package willingly. Ticket closed just like that.

That's now history oh well. Then, after doing YEP, I still stream on my AOTG etc, ok ah not feel lagging also.

Still, it still kinda sucks not to be on the bandwagon of 500-800mbps for my same price
