On the page you linked, scroll up a bit to the "Existing Customer" section and click the "Via Self-Care" button. Login into your Unifi account. You should see the "redeem" page. See what you have there. It should only show your current package.

Some 500M and 800M users have done the redeem as posted in this thread. You can read through the posts from 01 Oct onwards where all this has been discussed. You can also compare your 500M package price with others. Not sure what you are paying now. If its much higher than others, than you may want to see what you should do next, or you'll be stuck with higher price with the new contract.

You can also call CS and give them your account info and ask them exactly what will happen to your package and price in Jan 2020.

Kindly get all the necessary info before making your decision.

Although those are the plans offered to new users, it is also possible for existing users to change to one of those plans if they want. But that is chaning / switching plan, not redeeming / renewing their existing plan. There is a difference.

i subscribed during that promo and got renew my contract when turbo-ed

for this yep 2019 i applied on first week october when t&c still got mentioned maintain current package and approved on 21/10

when new bill arrived i got perpetual discount rm90 altho it was written rm199

when january 2020 then i will know whether i still maintain old 300mbps or the new one

because my 300mbps got no free call and only aneka unifi tv

Hi guys,
I try one of the forum-er advice and try to change my plan via web/ mobile apps.
Check both UI (mobile/desktop) and it is similar.

NOTE:.
My request submission is from web application via desktop.
It seems didn't state and penalty charge. But i never bother go and read the Term & Conditions.
If(In case) there is penalty charge it will be RM 200 for me base on my contract till 2020 March. (Other user might varies)
Anyway other forum-er seems to have success in the change plan request from 300MBps to 30 MBps ( without any charges with 1 year contract intact).
Please note if you click "Pay for nothing Promo" link straight away as advertise you will only eligible to get free internet until Dec 2019 with Current Plant.
*(What i need is cheaper plan that is why i apply STEP1~STEP3 as advice by forum-er)
So hopefully, everything works as intended with no charge.  dry.gif

My 300Mbps Super Value YEP 2019 was just activated this morning.

There are 100% discounts shown for Residential Voice, Internet and HyppTV. What does it mean?

Also my Internet Promo Discount was increased from RM130 to RM150. What does it mean again?

Previously my 300 Mbps Turbo Upgrade 2018 package cost me RM129.

I have no idea what the YEP package price will be come Jan 2020. sad.gif

I tried the one you posted.
They told me RM199 300Mbps.
Then for that Jan 2020 bills I told her to check. She said cannot check and ask me to wait for that bill.
My contract end date seems to be same 2 years from the dashboard this time ( This one they called me via phone only can verify it.)

Thanks for trying. Again we don't know if what CS is telling is correct or not, just like about the 24 month discount and YEP previously. Of course we know we can wait for Jan bill, but we want to know now. But they cannot tell. By now, they should have had so many questions and complaints about this that they should already make some sort of announcement to make it clear to all users. But they don't.

The new contract date is same as service date because the account and service date were updated on that day to reflect new contract date and new account info. At least they didn't mention anything about the old 24 month discount...

I guess in a way RM199 300M they say is correct. Because that is your package price. Just have to make sure the new discount is also applied to get the RM139. So have to make sure the new discount does not change in dashboard in Jan.

I was trying to get my bills for Jan/Feb 2020 even before I applied YEP. They said can't check and ask me wait for bills even tho I purposely told them I want to terminate before getting charged full price without discount. Which means I will at least get charged full price/pro-rate once before I remember to terminate if I didn't check my contract end date.

The discount most probably will maintain that RM139 forever until I terminate as one of the staff told me but we never know the actual thing until Jan 2020 bills come.

Please ask multiple times and get an "average" of their replies, kind of stupid but that's the best shot for now until TM/unifi make a clarified stance for 24 month 300mbps turbo rm139 plan.

I live chatted 6 times and had 3 calls, 8 out of 9 say jan 2020, new price is rm199. Kind of misleading, but they insist as it is. You can also log in an MCMC complaint for this misleading/grey area info.

I also think the dashboard discount will be applied in Jan to maintain the price. I guess in a way CS may not know how the billing system works. I think some users mistakenly did Change My Plan instead of redeem. So far here, users have got discount changed to perpetual.

Like you said, have to wait till Jan to see what really happens. Hopefully whoever gets the earliest Jan bill will post and update here.

Looks like every day or so there is going to be some user asking the same thing again. Users should read back Oct posts to get some idea and feedback. Then make their own decision. Good luck to users.

You can still protest. It is very unfair to put in their email that it is only about renewing the contract but actually with different terms. I believe they will later allow free 3 months plus the same price and speed. That was what happened when they introduced cheaper package to new customers and some of us complaint and they allow us to reduce the price.

I think so as well. Some users didn't know might have pressed that Change My Plan page instead of that renew page and their price become RM199.
From what I seen people post and myself, those 300Mbps that applied mostly become perpetual from that 24 months.

Don't worry. I asked post even before YEP and after YEP.
They can't tell me either what will be my bills for Jan 2020.
They only thing they know is Contract End date for before YEP and after YEP.
Discount for every users might differs maybe they didn't know either. That's all.
