Just to share for those with the same plan with me. I subscribed 300mbps bonanza plan with 24months discount (RM139 monthly). Before YEP, my discount is RM70 for 24months. After YEP, my discount become RM90 perpetual. I did apply YEP before my contract end (December 2019).

My breakdown charges:

Before YEP
300Mbps : RM179 - (RM70 discount) = RM109
HyppTV : RM30

Total : RM139

This is my own assumption only and I might be wrong, but I guess the increase in the discount rate (RM20) is actually to offset the new price.

If you look on the current price for 300Mbps package it is actually RM279 (non promotion price) and I believe the breakdown will be like this:

300Mbps : RM199
Ultimate: RM60
Voice : RM20

Total : RM279

So i guess my next bill will be like this and I will be paying the same price. Does this make sense?

After YEP
300Mbps : RM199 - (RM90 discount) = RM109
HyppTV : RM30

Total : RM139

4) on celcom fibre's advantages, the best is the termination clause....but if you read the terms carefully :
a) do you know that the ONU only 1 year limited warranty? TM warranty you for LIFE as long as you're under their contract. Tukar berapa kali also nevermind, i just changed mine not to long ago FOC, because the connection not stable due to overheating of the ONU unit and resplice the fibre optic. Sometimes, if you pandai-pandai and good relationship with the contractor, can even help you replace your router.
b) if you move house, you incur additional RM200 to "transfer" your account to another branch servicing your new location. For TM, no such issue. As one forumer stated, transfer of ownership ini macam pun boleh.
c)  if you ffk/reschedule installation date from initial appointment, any change is rm200 unless give 4 days advance notice. I'm presuming this also applies to after sales service issues. For TM, if you give reasonable time ahead, the contractor has no qualms rescheduling, even half a day before you tell them need to reschedule also ok, FOC, come another day.
d) there is no guarantee that celcom won't "over-deliver" for certain users, but chances definitely lower because of margin concerns.

i also looked into celcom when i undergone this fiasco, but item 4a and 4c is quite a tough consideration because ONU can die at anytime. This one TM takes the cake. And there is no guarantee that celcom after sales service is any better.
*
If you subscribe to Celcom Home Fibre under TM's HSBB network similar to Maxis Fibre, your ONT(fibre modem) is supplied by TM Wholesale themselves, it's lifetime warranty.
By the way the market is throwing ONTs out there now, it's just a plain dumb media converter with some basic routing function and switch. They're dumping them below USD$45 per unit out there with advance function. Those one ethernet port mini ones are even cheaper goes below USD$35 or less.

Early termination is only one time off RM500 under contract, downgrade only one time RM50 and no renewal of your contract, continue from where you left off.

Their 100M plan is among the cheapest RM120 only just use it for data, dump the stock router and get your own.

I'm on Turbo800 perpetual discount. I also got an increase of RM20 discount which is offset by the same increase in the internet price from 329 to 349. The price I pay stays the same. TBC Jan 2020.

Did your 24 months Promo Discount change to Perpetual after YEP activation? You can see from the website or app.

This is very important for users with 24 month discount because of conflicting answers from TM. If it happens consistently then it may be a safe bet to say that YEP will change your 24 months to Perpetual.

The change in your discount from RM70 to RM90 is same as what some other 300M users have reported here. You can read past posts on this. The question is whether the price will increase back from RM139 to RM199 after the initial 24 month discount period is over. This is what CS has been saying and thus 300M users are unsure about it.

Users have already posted latest bill and as you say the 300M will show as RM199 - discount now instead of RM179 - discount before. But at the moment, due to YEP, the discount is -RM199. Only in Jan can you see whether the discount will be -RM90 or something else.

If you can, please try my suggestion at:

My QoS not working.

100Mbps on Tp-link archer ac1200. Heres what i did :

1. Disable nat boost. Restart
2. Enable qos
3. Setting the qos. Add range extender device and my phone to 10% category. Save and restart

After speed test show speed of 50Mbps for phone and not 10Mbps. Any idea where should i adjust the setting ? Thanks

The 100% discount is for the YEP period till end of year. The pay nothing. The actual discount after that is RM230. See your previous bill. Did you have a total of RM230 or RM210 discount then?

FYI I'm using TM Unifi myself now at home. For close to 10 years until just 1st half of this year, I've been paying faithfully RM169 for 10M until I decided to complaint at TM Point to have it lowered to RM89 without the bundled phone calls and TV.

Made the biggest mistake continuing with TM Unifi, should have just waited a few more months probably I'm now on Celcom or Maxis. I should've not trusted this dishonest company, they quietly changed the early termination plan from one time RM500 into this remaining months nonsense.

Never again I'll TRUST this damn company which blocks you if you post too much complains at their FB page. Want to monopolize Malaysian 5G airspace? Dream on idiots!

Oh the explanation came out.

Honestly why were you continuing to pay RM169 for 10 years? You should have joined us here earlier, you'd at least be in the RM139/300 group then.

No worries. That forumer very lucky. Who is it? Please come into the embassy here.

99/500 = .198
129/500 = .258
149/800 = .18625
159/800 = .19875

Your former plan is still the winner.

I remember reading about someone with RM139 for 800Mbps. Got ar?

OT: I also got TIME for my new place.

There is no such package being offered now. Those users who have it were from during a promo about 2 years ago where the offer was RM139 for 30M. Later due to turbo, the 30M became 300M. The current 300M package is priced at RM199.

What is your package now? RM129 100M?
