must it be the same package to renew under #khabarbaik? Currently 100mbps around 1year and if renew and can downgrade to 30mbps i would consider. BTW, the soyacincau say there is a 50mbps for RM99 but I can't see it in unifi website...
*
Normally, downgrade can only be done at tmpoint. So, i think tm is wise enough to not allow customer downgrade easily using the portal

Yup so I'm not going to get my contract renewed. They are willing to give up so much revenue just to renew customers' contracts does feel fishy.

It does not sound fishy if you already lose 30k customer to your competitor: whistling.gif

yes, all the while VDSL2 can support more than 100 Mbps, and even when first subscribed UniFi Lite, the attainable rate already support more than 100 Mbps, but TM only allow max 30 Mbps due to stability issue.

Nah, i dont think you will get 100Mbps as your upload only 46Mbps.

Last 2 year I help 1 VDSL customer upgrade to 50M after he agree he will not complain if not get 50M and at least get 40M. But he keep complaining to TM and MCMC as the speed only 42-46M. Then TM decide downgrade him back to 30M, he begging me to help him get back 50M package.

So these type of customer that prevent TM from promoting the 50M and 100M to VDSL customers

Can we opt to cancel hype TV option ?

My RM129 (100mbps) plan really no use of that thing =.=

Pay rm30 for no usage ~~

I dont think so as starting last month they start implementing discount for the hypptv.
So in bill will become 129 (internet) + [30-30(hypptv)] = 129

Actually in the bill it shows [129-30] + 30 (hypptv) = 129

So, Im hoping can get rid of hypptv tv from the package too. It's understandable if cannot remove while under contract, but at least allow us to remove once contract expired.

You probably register before Sep 2019.
Those register Sep 2019 onwards will get 129 (internet) + [30-30(hypptv)] = 129

Hi Guys, a quick question. The previous tenant in the house that I'm currently staying had Unifi. Before he left overseas, he terminated his service. However, the wiring from the DP to inside of the house is still there. When I want to apply Unifi, they told me the port is full.

My question is, when you terminate your unifi service, does TM come to the DP and vacate the port ? (Refer to pic) If they don't, I can Inform them to remove the previous tenants connection to the DP and replace it with mine

TM will vacate the port without touching the DP (remotely done by system).
So, when installer come (for new person that take the vacated port), the installer just unplug the the fiber connector at the DP box

So tie the with old cable to bring 2 new fibre optic cable should be the only way.  brows.gif
But not sure will it break or not..haha

Can be done, but 2nd unifi account must be under different name (can be father & son or husband & wife or housemates)
But I think your new house is under what tm call it as smart partnership. Normally for this type of premise you need to install the free unifi first under different name than the existing, then proceed to relocate the existing. If you install the existing first, you will lose the free unifi version.

Also for this type of premise, the installer only do the connection inside your premise as fiber from DP to your house already pre-installed.
Depends on developer, usually developer only pre-installed 1 fiber from DP to your house. Then if you want to install 2nd unifi, then installer need to pull second fiber from DP to your house until inside your house. So, this may cause more than 1 appointment as tm already configure cheaper rate to the installer. They need to reconfigure normal rate, then installer will proceed to install the 2nd fiber
