Damn. 50mbps rm99 is enough for me. If only I can downgrade but too bad under contract

Hey guys. Do u know if tm allow us to add on unifi tv? Let's say I take 50mbps without unifi tv, then in future I want to subscribe to it, can I?

Tm said will charge rm200 if want to downgrade as I'm still under contract. If upgrade no charge. Anyone got the same answer?

wtf, apply for this promo at tm point kepong beginning for this month but apparently its not activated? still have to pay. contract didn't renew.. nothing!

I have switched from 100M to 30M using Change My Plan page in dashboard. Before that I asked CS at 100 if there is any penalty and they said no. From previous posts, others have also done similarly.

With this promo, your are renewing 2 year contract. There should be no penalty due to that.

I suggest you call 100 Sales Dept and ask them. Tell them your details and you want to take up the year end promo and at the same time switch to another package. Ask them if there is any penalty due to contract etc. See what they say. You may have to call 2 or 3 different times to make sure you get the correct info.

If you are going to TMPoint, I suggest you go to TM HQ instead. I think they should give the correct info there. Others here have posted some TMPoints don't seem to know the correct info or say they cannot do certain things.

I'm on 100mbps turbo pack, my contract left 1 year from this month. Planning to downgrade to 50mbps. Thing is, 50mbps is not available online. So I have to do it over the counter. TM HQ is menara tm right?

Yes, the 50M is not online. This could also be another reason why they are saying there is a penalty. If you look at the T&C link in my previous post, the 50M is not listed there. Thus it could be possible that that package is not covered under this promo.

You can still try at TM HQ, Menara TM and insist to speak to the supervisor / manager there. Also, you may consider switching to 30M for now. Maybe later can upgrade back to 50M if that is the only way you can do it now. But it depends on your package requirements.

The main point should be that when you switch to 50M, you are renewing 2 year contract. Thus there should be no penalty as they have locked you in again for 2 years. Make sure you are getting the free year end promo. Otherwise, you may not benefit from it.

good news. finally got my 50mbps. at first, they told me that my unifi tv contract is less than a year, so if I want to proceed to downgrade, need to pay RM30 plus the remaining months, PLUS RM300. then I told them but its not termination, instead its a contract renewal, then the guy discuss with his colleague, and then told me he will try to proceed with my request. tonight I check my portal its already "unifi 50Mbps - Upsizing YEP 2019" rclxm9.gif

BUT, seems like got new problem, did a speedtest and something is definitely wrong, I hope its just bad connection tonight. if tomorrow still like this need to report again,

One more thing, i cannot log in to unifi tv anymore. It says maximum device limit reach, ask me to pick a device, but there's no way to select any device. I feel like they are not happy and purposely giving me trouble. Really messed up
