Hi Guys, recently just turbo-ed to 800mbps, dilemma between
1. Asus AC86U from Taobao
2. TP-Link AC3150 from Lazada/Shopee

Need some advice.

TP-Link AC3150 from local sellers. I would recommend the Asus AC86U but if you are getting it from Taobao, just be aware that there is no local warranty. You will have to send it back to China if there are any issues.

Anyone know if DIR-615 router support gigabit ethernet or not

I currently have this model, but I was recently turbo-ed to 500mbps. If wired connection can utilize it, then i wont be bothered to change.

From the spec is only 10/100. Unless TM have special version.

I read that too, I believe I have the 10/100, but never really knew what it meant. I guess it means 100mbps max transfer speed?

Read 1st page, 1st post, green text. It will answer your question, and by the way, that router is ancient. I recommend changing it ASAP.

Last week my BTU (located in my living room) + L7 NR2000 router (located in my room) after 7year usage finally spoil. Call TM and they replace a new modem router all in 1 Netis DL4480V1. Since my house is high-rise with copper wired that is the best they can give. Is it true? Because my room is abit far from my living room wifi 2.4ghz signal abit weak. Can i configure the Netis as BTU and add-on a new wifi router?

Instead of using the web-based Speedtest.net, maybe we should try the native Windows app for Speedtest. For Windows 10, it is available on the Microsoft Store; for iOS and Android, they are available on their respective Store.

Not sure about the Netis but the TM's ZTE ZXHN-H267A all-in-one (btu, router, wifi) can be configured to pass vlan500 to your own router.

my home unifi has been down since 2nd of Feb, I've called the unifi hotline everyday since then, complained everyday but no one seems to be taking any action except for giving dozens of excuses e.g. unifi server down, some cards from the server are spoiled, then the cable connecting to our home is out of order, then all of the sudden say my area is down. my technical report has been "in progress" for 11 days now. what to do? The entire company seems to be operated by a bunch of lazy asses.

Hi all,

My Unifi service is the upgraded from 50Mbps to turbo package 500Mbps (Having the STB with HyppTV Aneka service) which about RM195+ bill every month.

It is understand that TM will no longer provide the STB to stream HyppTV as you would now use your phone to stream HyppTV contents. However, I read somewhere TM would charge another RM30 if you need the STB to stream HyppTV on your big TV.

Now I downgraded to the Unifi 100Mbps @ RM129 which also included the HyppTV Aneka service and I'm already have the STB from my old subscription. Will TM charge me RM30 cause I can still stream HyppTV via STB to my big TV??
