Still hard to compare between the K850i and the 902 from just a few pictures taken, probably the owners here are not well photographers but after just this few pictures, in the leading sit is the 902.

The photos look washed out and unimpressive. Do you agree? The colour especially looks dull.

That's why I said nothing to shout about
Almost par with K800/K810i quality.
Maybe the person don't know how to use it yet, not sure though.

U sure that is K850i pictures??Almost on par wif my Samsung D820 wif only 1.3MP

If u guys really want excellent quality, why don't get a sony cyber shot 8.1 mp? quite cheap only rm 1k++

^ Still the pictures are nothing to shout about even for a camera phone. We have seen better photos on a camera phone.

I am quite disappointed with the picture quality, but there is some hope, they say it can be firmware issues... hopefully SE comes out with a better firmware... there are ppl toking about sleep mode clocks, delay in opening of the camera flap... it is the noise in the picture quality which i am really not happy about...

lets see how and read more reviews...

You can always save to your PC and check the EXIF information

Mate, this is a Phone Specific discussion thread and we're discussing about K850i camera quality. Let me ask you a very simple question, can your Sony Cybershot 8.1MP make a call ?

And this phone main purpose is the camera. If you're keen of telling us to buy Sony Cybershot camera, maybe you're in a wrong sub board. Maybe you need to head yourself over Here.

Yeah. Well it's still can improve if SE come out a new firmware for K850i but I think it won't be that soon

Just have yourself wait for SEUS release the newer firmware.
I think SE will update it as for sure Europe K850 owner will complain to SE

aih.. after such a long wait and after looking back at the pictures provided here.. very disappointing.

i won't say that it's on par with the K800/810i (they'd take better quality than this) and judging from the first picture.. look at the T650i banner.. coming from the new image stabilizer this shouldn't happen and the third picture the noise is really irritating to see.

i want 2 take pics n upload
but im kinda noob at it...
i'll try 2 take as many as i can n upload it
any suggestions on wat setting 2 use is welcomed...

Use Auto Mode for scenery taking. You can try Landscape as well

Then try Macro Mode. Snap a few macro mode.

Then use Auto Mode try snap a few color such as Orange, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and etc so that we can know and compare it.

Use Imageshack to upload the photo so that we can read the EXIF date
If possible, try not to resize it. Keep it at 5MP mode

ok.. here's what i think bout the pictures... colour is less vibrant, quite noisy, well, its normal for 1st batch new phones like the k800 tat time.. so hope newer firmware fixed all those..

i took a few pics b4 reading da suggestions here...
i'm posting a few pics now n wud take more pics according 2 da method told by KTCY...

The photo seems ok to me. Shutter speed 1/500 , ISO 64 is good but weird number

The picture seems ok to me lor..

seems like not good as expected...those who got k850i, post more comments...

Ugh!!!! The picture is acceptable compared to the previous 3 but it still sucks. Not good as its the top-of-the-line camera phone.
