I've updated my phone to R1EA030 thru SEUS juz nw.it went smooth all the way.after its completed i follow the instructions given,unplug wire,battery and thn start the phone.but thn a loading screen come out and my phone went dark. i cant turn it on anymore so i repeated the steps.and thn there's my babe,all up and running again.

now to the review of the update.overall phone speed had been improved,i can feel the diff frm the older firmware.especially the media manager,the menu is much faster now. the photo browser oso had been improved,they made it like a slide show like the iphone which is neat and faster.and the most important part of all is the sound quality,it is much better nw and the megabass is really sounding nice .the manual equaliser will stay put nw evrytime u enter the walkman unlike the older firmware whr u nid to press manual evrytime entering.

the only bug i spotted so far : auto rotate yr media manager to landscape mode will screw yr background.i duno hw to explain this but its like black background bcum purple background.i'm still ok with this but it still get annoying at some times.

overall a nice update other thn the media manager glitch.i rly like the improvements made to the phone speed and sound quality. recommended update to evry1.well done SE and thks

if yr phone is unbranded,yes u can.

Update on the media manager glitch,try nt to use themes which chg the media manager background like hidden peak,let it stay as original (with black background) and it will fix the landscape glitch.

I noticed another bug today.whn u go into camera mode thru yr menu,after u exit camera,there will be a black background behind all the icons,the same will happen if u use the media manager in landscape mode,after u exit,u will get the bug.it can get annoying at some times.the only solution is to use flash themes (eclipse,hidden peak,soundscape) bcoz this bug wont effect flash themes.

ooo.so ap battery not as good as ori one..that means, they changed the suppose battery in the package n replace with ap one ek?
if like that, need to buy ori battery to stay longer n avoid daily charge arr..

i already update to latest FW actually..if heavy use (i like to sms) then 1 day kiok..need charge...if not really heavy 1.5 days...if use wifi then, the battery will drain much faster.

squall...u use ap but then u can upgrade fw thru seus or u go service center?

last time my ap w810 cannot tru SEUS...but my current ap P1i can update direct via SEUS...n most of p1i users can
