If you are using iPhone you will have this endless problem. My iPhone no longer using Hotlink. But on Android phones check your mobile settings under mobile network change your “Preferred network type” to GSM only. I hope this help. If you have done that and still get charged then I’m out of idea. This is my Android settings so far so good. Knock on wood.

Don’t forget to reset this when you have purchased data for your phone.
