I replaced my 17inch wheels with 16-inch black performance wheels and I noticed a slight improvement in ride quality and handling immediately. In your case, you might have a different problem since your car shakes on certain freeways. May be your wheels are not properly balanced. Check also the wheel bearings and suspension components.
