Honda City still using the same models of body and engine since couple of years back.

meanwhile, Vios come with new body, alot of good features and is new engine dual VVT-i.

The choice is yours

The current Honda City 2014 is a new platform, while the recently launched "new" Vios is still using the same platform from the 2013 model.

And the City L15B engine despite being older than the "new" Toyota Dual VVT-i 2NRFE, still makes more power and just as fuel efficient, if not more fuel efficient, than the Vios.

I'd buy Altis with VVTI engine second hand if I were you. Think of it as a Bigger brother of Vios but the younger bro of Camry. You get the nippiness of Vios but the same solid sure footed feeling as Camry. It's like the best of both worlds.

After you tried Altis you wont wanna botehr with City and Vios. Big difference in ride comfort too. No 'floating' feeling even when you go up to 160kmh. rclxms.gif

Make sure Altis with VVTI engine! Dont buy the one without VVTI.

I also think this. Choose second hand Altis.
But worry about the car history.

City currently got rebate so the price gap is quite wide between the two. I doubt vios got any rebate being a new model.
