Ive seen that the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 is on sale now,has anyone already played that?Is it better or worser as the CG version?

hi,it's just the same with the gc and ps2 version,the only special is the game play,i can say it's the best way to play RE4 with Wii,with the Wii mote pointing to aim the zombie,very very nice

Actually the Japanese version is playable. If memory serves me correctly, only some small parts are in Japanese, the text and speech is in English. Nice game.

Japanese censored the gore and blood.

Whats resident evil without the gore?

I don't really like style of RE4 altho I like the gameplay. Its much easier to aim and shoot with shoulder view. Its just that, not killing real zombies takes away the fun factor for me (opinion on the ps2 version)

is it worth to buy the RE4Wii since already play the GC version?

The Wii version has the PS2 content.

Some reviews say control nice, some say bad. Famitsu gave 10/10/10/10 for this title.

Can't believe no-one is posting about this.

This is amazing. RE4 was already the best game I'd played in the last 7 years, and the Wii controls really do improve the game. I was lousy at the context sensitive shooting on the GC apart from headshots, but on the Wii I'm happily shooting people in the legs and weapons out of their hands with ease. The game does feel a little easier as a result, but no worse for it.

It's the best game on the Wii, along with Zelda. If you haven't played RE4 before, it's an essential purchase. If you have played it before, buy it anyway.

I just want to know why i cant perform the backward slam anymore when the enemy have their knee on the ground? The Wii edition took out this part is it? I just get the normal kick!!!

I *think* I saw the suplex on mine before. Are you playing the Jap version? From what I read, beheadings were not present. Dunno about suplex tho'.

Is US version but no suplex!!! Damn i missed tat skill!
remember finish the whole game using that skill + TMP + knife!

Shot leg, suplex, then knife them on the ground!!!!

i've performed suplex a couple of times on the US version of RE 4. shoot the leg and then go behind em. that should do it.

need go behind? I didnt go behind in the PS2 to achieve that skill....nvrmind i will go back and tried!

getting the zombies to kneel down is a bit tricky. and it did not work well with lower level zombies. plus after getting Chicago Typewriter, one shot will kill the zombies.

Just got my RE4 Wii last week. Really nice game , even i have bought NGC RE4 previously, this is still rocks on Wii! I guess the Wii Edition for gamer more focus on the control stuff. Its really thrill especially u play alone at mid in the night, but work best for first timer player.
