Hi guys, anyone know a place where I can get a good deal for a hardcase for my guitar?

I have an SX Explorer that I got 4-5 years ago and it usually sits on my guitar stand when I don't play it. The main reason I want a case is so that the strings don't rust like hell everytime I stop playing for a few weeks.

Anyway, the reason I haven't gotten a case is I'm not really sure how/where to get one. I love the Explorer shape but I don't think there's a lot of cases that can fit it. Do I have to bring my guitar when I go searching for cases? I hope not. haha.

If you guys can tell me what's a good price for a hardcase and where I can get it, that'd be awesome.

It looks the same as the Gibson/Epiphone Explorer, but I'm not sure if the dimensions are exactly the same.

How much would an Epiphone case cost? Hopefully not more than my guitar. Haha.

If I remember correctly, it was RM600+, and I was joking, I don't think the case can cost more than that. Can it?

An Epiphone Les Paul hardcase cost RM90 a few years back.
Not sure how much is it now, but just to give you a rough idea.

Don't worry too much about the price of the hardcase, it will definitely be cheaper than your guitar. There's even gig bags that are more than RM1k.

Normally only soft gig bag will cost around that price.

My coffin case costs me RM500......
If I order in the Off V Coffin Case, it's gonna cost easily RM600+

my case costs rm220.

If the Epiphone hardcase cost RM90 or RM190, I'm definitely gonna get that. haha.

While a coffin case does look awesome, I don't think I wanna spend more than RM300 on a case for a cheap guitar.

So, umm, know where I can look for these cases? Like, where's Iron Wood?

Iron Wood is the distributor of Coffin Cases in Malaysia... Don't think they have cases for Explorers...

Maybe their Warlock case might be able to fit an Explorer...... they have that in Ironwood.
Alas, my poor RR3 can't fit in that..... it's only a specific model of a coffin case that can accommodate the Off-V wing of the RR........
