Are we allowed to bring hairspray in an international flight in KLIA?

I checked from the website saying aerosol/liquid item including hairspray is allowed but at limited capacity for hand-carry. However, my hairspray size seems to have exceeded the given quota

What if I put it in my luggage? Can the luggage be allowed to include the normal-sized gatsby hairspray?
