Need help/ advice on compatible Japan SIM for Xiaomi Pocophone F1 (Global version) & Redmi Note 7 (Global version).

I called up Hello1010 and asked why a remark saying "XIaomi phone <RM1000 and bought before 2018 not support). CS answered "band" incompatible but she is not 100% sure.

The Japan telco is SOFTBANK.

Any RN7/ Pocophone users please share your experience. Thank you
*
- check Softbank 4G frequency
- check your phone supported frequency
- phone min. need 3G+4G dual active if u still want ur M'sia number active. 3G for M'sia sim, 4G for Jpn sim.
- Jpn no 2G service
- many old phone cannot support 3G+4G or 4G+4G dual active, if only support 2G+3G/4G then u only can choose either 1 sim which u need most.

Do some simple research, u will get ur answer.

Actually, I found these info already (and thought that both phones should work), just not sure why the hello1010 CS discourage me to buy their Japan prepaid SIM cards

Here are some info I found before I post my last question

Redmi Note 7 (https://www.mi.com/my/redmi-note-7/specs/)
GSM B2/3/5/8
WCDMA B1/2/4/5/8
FDD-LTE B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20/28
TDD-LTE B38/40

Pocophone F1 (https://www.poco.net/global/specs/)
GSM B2/3/5/8
WCDMA B1/2/5/8
FDD-LTE B1/3/5/7/8/20
TDD-LTE B38/40/41(120MHz)

https://www.softbank.jp/en/mobile/special/p...-for-travel/en/
This service uses the SoftBank network.
Usable systems and frequencies for your terminal are the following.
LTE: Band 1(2100 MHz)/ Band 3(1700 MHz)/ Band 8(900 MHz) / Band 41(2500 MHz)
W-CDMA(3G): Band 1(2100 MHz)/ Band 8(900 MHz)
*
Some CS don't have the knowledge/time to answer the question, or some might just lazy to explain so much.
