9am Uji
12pm Nara, Todaiji Daibutsu only.

n i mentioned before, very hard to enjoy Nara but easier to relax while enjoying at Uji.
since Nara is everyone choice, but not Uji, hence lesser crowd.
ppl from Osaka wont go Uji, only from Kyoto might.

the deer is nice for beginning but get annoying tho.

Fushimi Inari, both give different experience. try to do both if u can. my night time experience, unable to climb up til mid area overhead view of Kyoto city due to previous typhoon.

night view? if u mean night illumination, i only visit Eikanko, Toji-ji n Kibuneyama's Kifune Jinjia + Momiji Tunnel.

The last Haruka Express leaves KIX at 10.16pm. That's a big risk if you have to clear immigration, collect your luggage (if you have any) and collect your ICOCA card if you don't have one.

You're better off taking the JR train from KIX to Osaka then change trains from Osaka to Kyoto.

2nd say hectic day for kiyomizudera till nishiki market
3rd day is arashiyama

so i don't think i would be able to buy or pickup the ticket(if i even pre-purchase)
now is prolly check 1 night before if there is still ticket to decide to go umahori or just arashiyama and skip the train

but after knowing the price of the boat trip, had to change to current plan

I totally agree! My wife and I spent a whole day in Arashiyama. We didn't do the train and boat ride but we explored the northern side where there are some beautiful temples and gardens, and so much quieter than the main town area. Plus, the main town area has plenty of things to see, taste and explore. 

Yup, you buy both from the JR ticket office. Note that the ticket office is not in the airport but in the train station next to the airport. Just follow the signs once you exit the arrival gate.

As my calculations on my previous trip you need atleast 45mins to 1h from the moment u get out from plane till exit the custom declaration officers. If you kena ask to open luggage then more time gone at there.
