Just got back from my Japan trip. It was enjoyable, with many attractions not crowded at all (best for photo-taking!). Did not see any the state of panic among the people (not everyone wore masks). Actually feel now's the best time to visit coz the crowds were insane the previous time I went 6 years ago, but of course need to practise caution at the airport.

Personally I feel there's nothing to worry about (except if you're traveling with babies or the elderly). I felt safe during my trip there last week, and the Japanese being Japanese already practise good hygiene when it comes to wearing masks to prevent spreading germs to other people. I didn't feel the need to wear a mask while I was there, only thing I did was to constantly wash my hands/ use hand sanitizer. Though I feel absolutely fine I am now under a 2-week quarantine imposed by my company upon getting back sweat.gif

It was save to travel to Japan but what make you feel fxxx was after the trip. You had to qurantine your self up to 14 days.

Had to take 10 day unpaid leave are fxxx. For safety of others, you had no choice. So not wise to travel oversea during this period.

Mine is paid leave so all's good smile.gif Just don't understand the state of panic and the skewed perception people have of the outbreak. Still standing on my ground that now's the best time to visit Japan! Do consider thoroughly if you are in close contact with the elderly or young children though. We're a young couple with no kids yet so yolo all the way (of course with careful judgment) biggrin.gif
