So far my 3 times AA flight to haneda no delay la... Plus minus reach around 10.30. But i really hate rushing 1. So the 1st time solo trip i sleep airport. 2nd time & 3rd with partner n friends i book hotel near airport which provide airport transfer shuttle. 1st nite i just need a place to sleep only then 2morrow morning only depart to city hotel. But if you really want rush the late train. Actually can make it 1 la... Really need to move fast lo...

any plan to go Shin Hotaka Ropeway from Takayama. This snow mountain not bad... i not sure izit not that well known or what because i went there last december not very crowded can roll here and there on the snow. lol... but april maybe no snow d but the view of japan alps is quite stunning view also.

I drive to there. I did ask the hotel reception bout the bus. Bus would take 2h to reach. About the bus package not much information bro. Maybe you need to look online d.

For driving i took 1.5h actually can faster but due to a bit snow on road i worry of ice road so i drive rather slow. I start drive from 10am+ and reach around 12pm the ropeway to the top took like 30m then spend like 30min on the observation deck then lunch at there and continue to have fun playing snow outside the building for around 1.5h then the ropeway come down fast a bit. Then drive back to takayama reach at around 5pm+. Half day is possible if depart early morning. But there is no snow i think you wont spend so much time. Mostly you will enjoy the view taking pictures.

as far as i know, APA is known to be very tiny room. literally almost no place to open your luggage other than on the bed. just my suggestion only la... try search Asakusa area. this area quite convenient also 1. It is an old town less crowded than shibuya & shinjuku so hotel here mostly old a bit but still clean and ok 1. anyway older hotel mostly is more spacious than those new 1.

Travel Recommend, Wiyo & Roamingman so far ok & reliable. But plz plz dont go for Wifibaby. When i reach klia to collect the tunetalk counter told me they no longer provide pick up service for wifibaby. Ask me call the CS but call them nvr pick up at all. Then go take roamingman last min. Come back malaysia call wifibaby office countless time for 2 weeks finally someone pick up the call. And refund took like 3 to 4 weeks. Even their deposit return for other customers also slow.

landed 9.20pm reach hotel 10.30pm? impossible la... from the time you come out come out from plane till u exit custom & collect your luggage already almost 1 hour. and i assume you stay at namba since you said you going dontombori. JR train may took 1hour from kansai to namba and nankai express train took 40 mins.

Kaiyukan Aquarium & Tempozan can get special price ticket that cheaper a bit.

last day seem quite rush for me bcox the area you going like Left, Up and Down of Kyoto

I went there during normal weekday. Got queue la... But the queue move quite fast. Get my ticket in 10 mins to 15 mins like that. My sis went there during christmas day more crowded but like 30 mins get the ticket d.

Why dont you buy till exit at tengachaya then?

KIX got shop that sell sim or wifi but i think most shop closed at 10pm or 11pm

KIX to Namba shouldn't be problem to you, take Nankai Express can directly reach namba. Price like 1.2k yen i think. Half hour+ reach.

Osaka anyday also crowded with chinese tourist d bcox is most nearest city to china. They mostly at namba area due to sapu cosmetics & drugs. I been to tokyo & sapporo in October before. Yes chinese crowd is a lot but still ok la... Not like those zerg rush crowd. If i not mistaken, October is low peak period in japan so hotel tend to be cheaper compare with other months.

Not bad if u want a trip away from the crowded osaka & tokyo. Just back from there. Less crowded than tokyo & osaka not sure bcox of summer or what la... The hot still bearable during my trip. I like their kyushu trains. Got special design train for each destination. Must get the kyushu rail pass la... Can do a lot side trip to nagasaki, yufuin, kumamoto & some area more south like miyazaki. After visit few city in kyushu i take the their domestic flight to okinawa for few days then back fukuoka & back kl.

I thought tourist tax or departure tax is included in the flight ticket already.

Oh... Paiseh tot there are same tax.

Me & my 4 sisters addicted to japan already. We only have 2 suica. Since we most of the time going different date they will go with their husband. We take turn to use the suica. Lol... Did you plan to use their rail pass or whole trip use IC card only?

not sure you still got time to study this or not. sometimes if you travel a lot using train some train pass may help you save some money. for example travel around Osaka town using Osaka Amazing Pass (3600 yen for 2 days) unlimited city train except JR train. then you can enter some attractions FOC like Umeda Sky Building, Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel & most of the cruise boat or ship in Osaka. Basically if you get 3 or 4 of all the 50 attractions or facilities that they offer free entrance, you already earn back the 3600 yen somemore you get 2 days unlimited city train ride. Anyway just suggestion not necessary to follow. most important you enjoy and for sure you will. hehe...

Osaka Passes

(paiseh follow RC next post) If u not sure then everytime u get into the ticket gate u can ask the officer at the gate there that where you want to go. They will tell u which platform. No need to ask so proper english 1. Just simple like "sumimasen namba eki?" (eki means station) They sure know d. Be aware of the osaka JR platform, there got 2 queue lines on the floor. 1 queue line for local line & 1 queue line for rapid train line. Check the timetable screen which train come 1st. Jgn jgn train come je masuk only. Later masuk local line then 30mins train ride to kyoto become 1h+.
