QUOTE(Fyonne @ Apr 15 2019, 09:25 AM) if rokkosan is included, get this arima + rokkosan pass instead https://rail.hanshin.co.jp/ticket/otoku/pdf/ticket_en.pdfit include cable car/ropeway to Mt Rokko, bus to other side of mt rokko ropeway, ropeway down to kobe. n u can see the autumn tree from rope way as well as kobe city view from mt rokko itself. but the onsen only limited to either Gold bath or Silver bath. Thanks for that link, very helpful snapshot indeed. If I decide to go Mt Rokko then will get the mentioned pass for sure

Guys, does anyone know whether I can use the 5 days Tateyama Kurobe Option ticket to get transport from Ogizawa station to Shina-Omachi station? I watch youtube and it seems like there is bus directly to that station.
For the Tateyama station to Bijodaira station ride, from the youtuber video it seems like I need to reserve the timeslot to get into it and this is the only ride that required to book the seat, the rest of the 5 types of rides are basically queuing. Did anyone experience this?

Did anyone experience this? 1) Yes, Alpine Kurobe Pass does include Ogizawa to Shina-Omachi Station, Vice Versa by bus ride. 2) Tateyama station to Bijodaira station ride was a tram same like our Bukit Bendera. It got timetable. No need booked seat, first come first serve, once it full, you just need wait for next ride. every 20 minute 1 ride. This post has been edited by RegentCid: Apr 16 2019, 10:43 AM

I will try to get the earliest ride to Alpine route, cause second day after staying in Tateyama hotel i will need to make sure that I can reach Matsumoto before night so I can still visit some places in Matsumoto.

If you overnight at Tateyama, I assume you will start from Matsumoto to Shina Omachi to Ogizawa. The Reverse way, this way always less people. When I go during peak season. I do used reverse way

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Apr 17 2019, 12:47 PM) I will be going on 22nd May I see, I think should be ok. Anyway rmbr to reach there as early as possible. The place magical and huge and also to avoid crowd. Apparently it could get a bit congested at certain route.

Flight drop on haneda on 915pm. Took around 15 minutes to leave the airplane. Spend around 30 mins on custom and luggage. So basically is already 10pm when clearing custom. Took another 30 mins to get the voucher from global wifi/plug and play my sim card/ getting pasmo/getting direction to correct train to go my hotel. Took me another hour to get to my hotel at tawaramachi. Basically when i reached my hotel is already close to 12.

Emirates A380 will bring 500+ passenger into Haneda at that time, custom section will bottleneck This post has been edited by RegentCid: Apr 18 2019, 10:38 PM

The best is 11pm clear custom, still able to get train if he know where and how. But usually first timer will have a lot of issue. Like me wanna get a pasmo from the machine also need to search up and down
