guys, need some tips here, what's the best/worst time to arrive at any japan airport? anything i should take note?

saw some cheap flight around November, but arrives 10.30pm Haneda Airport

Rm1124 round trip is count as cheap or not?

paiseh first time planning to go JP lah  blush.gif
*
for tokyo, u have no choice..there is only 1 AA flight to tokyo haneda everyday
it's actually the worst time to arrive haneda because u may miss the last train if the plane delay

RM1124, okay lah if from kk > kl > tokyo...include luggage or not?
KL to tokyo cheapest is RM800(just ticket)

go november?..prepare jacket laugh.gif

Just want to share an update I got from JTB Malaysia when I contacted them via FB this morning.

Thanks a lot for the update. I'll just remove them from post #1 since i've checked JTB site and there's no info on SIM. What they have is wifi router and it's with Samurai wifi.

if you're on a budget, u have no choice but to choose AA
they land at that hour because it's cheaper to land at that hour, u will see quite a few more flight that land around the same time
as long as they don't delay, u should be able to make it to the train

and no choice is because other flight starts from RM1.3k(KL to haneda)

going tokyo during cold is a fun but not so fun experience
fun because u get to experience cold, not fun is because it's too damn cold, u just wanna go home laugh.gif

pay a bit more and get ANA etc. lol

nowadays, AA after include luggage and meals, not that much savings compare to full service carriers.

I rather have a nice arrival time in JP, so you can account for delay etc.

So the 1st time solo trip i sleep airport. 2nd time & 3rd with partner n friends i book hotel near airport which provide airport transfer shuttle. 1st nite i just need a place to sleep only then 2morrow morning only depart to city hotel. But if you really want rush the late train. Actually can make it 1 la... Really need to move fast lo...

Whats your setting for action cam?

Going by your previous vids, it pops out. Is that because you do color correction on editing software?

I'm in Hokkaido now and it snowed heavily today. It's great for skiing (sort of) but bad for pictures and video.

I'm using gp6

Yeah I find that cameras and vid cameras in general underexpose snow scenes quite badly, so in post need to correct. I don't really do much though, just white balance and adjust exposure contrast saturation a bit.

it's not that cold compare to Korea though.. haha i was in Korea when the temperature never go above 0.. you just keep going into shops for warmth but it gets too hot so you come out after 5 minutes.. rinse and repeat..

i was in Japan last December.. I enjoy the weather a lot.. day time 8-9 degree.. night time around 4-5 degree Celcius.. just layer properly... you can walk for hours in the nice weather thumbsup.gif

if your plane didn't delay, your rushing part(walk fast) is only from the arrival of the plane till immigration only
after that just relax, i'm not even on the last train...i'm on like the 2nd or 3rd last train

Guys, just checked that late night arrival in Japan airport is risky? I'll arrive at 1030pm in Japan. But searched online and found out that theres no train or bus after midnight. What can i do if in worst case scenario happened?

Taking cabs seems too pricey, Any alternatives?

Snow fell in Kyoto last Friday night when we arrived.
Very NICE! Although difficult to go through the wet and slushy pavements.
But nice!
This was after MAS cancelled our flight on Friday night. sad.gif Took the flight next day 930am out of KLIA. Lost a day in Kyoto there!

Very relaxed last few days in Kyoto. Taking the Kyoto bus is a cinch. Easy peasy. Gets us to most locations with a bit of walking.
Thank you Google maps! smile.gif

Onto Osaka today.
