QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Nov 21 2019, 11:45 AM) Definitely do-able. Your itinerary is not too packed, just nice. So long you don't overstay in 1 area, you're able to make it/ follow through especially when you're travelling alone. It's easier to adjust your timing and you don't have to wait up for anyone. thanks for your advice, man! =)1. Yes 2. Not sure but I would advice visiting Ginza on a weekend to enjoy the "Pedestrian's Heaven"; road closure of the main road - Chuo Dori of Ginza from 12 noon onwards: https://blog.gaijinpot.com/tokyos-pedestrians-paradise/ 3. Adjust accordingly. you'll need to prioritize on what is "must do" or "must see" then place the secondary item as alternative. 4. Yes. And plan your route to maximize the 3-Days Metro Subway pass. |

Hey guys, quick questions:
What's the least tiring way to explore Gion and Kiyomizudera? 1) Gion Hanamikoji--Gion corner - Ninenzanka - Sanenzanka-Kiyomizudera 2) Take bus from Gion shijo to Kiyomizumichi bus stop - 11 minutes walk uphill - Sanenzanka - Ninenzanka - Gion corner - Hanamikoji dori Don't really wanna take route 2 due to the 11 minutes uphill walk... If we take route 1, can slowly make it to Kiyomizudera with several stops (rest) |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Nov 22 2019, 07:31 AM) Hey guys, quick questions: You'll be walking mostly uphill all the time, when going route #1What's the least tiring way to explore Gion and Kiyomizudera? 1) Gion Hanamikoji--Gion corner - Ninenzanka - Sanenzanka-Kiyomizudera 2) Take bus from Gion shijo to Kiyomizumichi bus stop - 11 minutes walk uphill - Sanenzanka - Ninenzanka - Gion corner - Hanamikoji dori Don't really wanna take route 2 due to the 11 minutes uphill walk... If we take route 1, can slowly make it to Kiyomizudera with several stops (rest) #2 is the easiest, just one uphill walk in the beginning, and the rest is all downhill Plus yasaka and gion is nicer in the evenings |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Nov 22 2019, 10:29 AM) Don't worry about it, there's no way of knowing I'm always a dude on LYN. By the way, for this trip I like Nagasaki, Yufuin and Beppu (the room and hot bath), not really the Hell Tour. |

By the way, for this trip I like Nagasaki, Yufuin and Beppu (the room and hot bath), not really the Hell Tour. free admission too This post has been edited by RegentCid: Nov 22 2019, 11:35 AM |

QUOTE(Monya Meow Meow @ Nov 22 2019, 12:33 PM) Enjoy bro.... You just made me wish I was there. QUOTE(gaeria84 @ Nov 22 2019, 01:58 PM) Lol... That is a good one. Anyway, the deers are very tame. And they will bow to you if you offer them food. But try to find and feed female deers instead of the males with big horns. QUOTE(keanoppy @ Nov 22 2019, 04:27 PM) Need not ask. Change in Malaysia better. You will get lower rates overseas. |

Hi, anyone has any experience of taking out cash (JPY) from ATM machine in Tokyo (or any place in Japan)? just read that ATM there uses 4 digit pin instead of 6 digit pin. Is it true? Will bring enough cash, but just in case any emergency or etc.. and of cuz, which has the lowest fees? =)
