hi guys, can GT sport play from the disc out of the box (ie without download any updates)?

it think if you buy the GT Sport Spec II, you might play with minimal updates. This game (so far) has monthly update from time to time.

reason i ask is my game crash the moment i launch it

if can play offline, means the crash b4 i update the game is related to ps4 problem then...

i am returning the ps4 to sony and ask them exchange for another one (finger cross)

i did the following after got it back from sony repair centre
1) safe mode - rebuild database
2) safe mode - initialise with reinstall system software
3) inside ps4 settings - quick initialise
4) inside ps4 settings - full initialise (took > 5 hours)
5) reinstall games & update after full initialise

all of them failed

looks like there's a problem with your PS4. Is this problem affects GT Sport or other games?

i have 3 games, GTA V, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and this GT Sport.
Both MHW Iceborne and GT Sport failed.
GTA V manage to install and update and play.

Looks like graphic intensive games/newer games it fails.
Older games may work...it seems...

by the way, since u play GT Sport...

does the game runs the moment you insert the disc and with no internet connection (ie can play offline)?

coz mine does not run offline either, another error code appears if i am not connected to internet and i try run the game. CE-36329-3

i think i understand your problem. The thing is, GT Sport needs you to be online to save your progress. Check out the first post of this thread.

so if i had no internet, i insert disc and launch the game, the game will still be able to run rite? (assuming i am not going to save my progress)

if the answer is yes, then for sure either my ps4 or the disc itself got problem

should be that way but you can't save the game if you're offline

Anyone using Fanatec or Thrustmaster wheels? Thinking of doing a F1 style setup but not sure where to find the most reasonable price. I'm currently using a Playseat Challenge with Logitech G29, thinking of upgrading to either Fanatec CSL Elite F1 bundle or Thrustmaster T300RS GT with Ferrari wheel.
