this is my setup for GT4. so don't worry guys if you start small. Altho people might say that my current setup is expensive, but i rarely buy them new. all are second hand stuffs.

middle range thrustmaster eco system is good already, because they offer upgrade paths.

i always looked at this youtuber for inspiration.

Ah.... DFP pro My first wheel back then on the GT4 days. Still keeping it inside the store room complete with box but I think the adapter gone kaput already but it still work when I tried hooking it up to a ps3 last time. Still one of my favourite. Back then it is considered a high end mainsteam wheel, no? Bought it using my first paycheck since been eying it for so long since I was still a student. My setup was hooking it up on the family tv cabinet with a dining chair in front of a 32" CRT tv (it is considered huge those days)

rm 50 upgrade seems cheaper than paying extra 150 for the anniversary
but if I buy the anniversary version, meaning I can download the digital version on the PS4? then future PS5 cannot be digital version?

i believe so coz the anni come with disc for the ps5 version

For the anniversary edition, u get the digital download of the PS4ver + Physical disc of the PS5 version(steelbook) + the anni DLCs.

If the ps4 digital version can be upgraded, probably we still need to pay for the upgrade to get the ps5 digital version. Can anybody confirm on this? Unkerpel is also having a hard time understanding the upgrade method previously

yes if u use ps4 digital version u still need pay RM50 to upgrade no matter wat
so either u wan save some money get PS4 version 1st or straight get anni which giv u both
non anni version also got free dlc just lesser content

macam need to finish cafe mission, which I assume is the one those days where we ambik lesen till want to flung the controller days (no youtube tutorial vids yet) then I macam no time to enjoy this game

my best bet for now is burn rm 240 buy ps4 disc version then upgrade to digital version on PS5 digital?
or I buy from PSN digital version then bila ada ps5 can upgrade there?

cafe mission different from license, cafe mission is like u go do this and that race to collect certain cars etc

u can buy ps4 either disc or digital and when u have ps5 u still can upgrade by paying rm50 on playstation store
both works

For 25TH ANNIVERSARY VERSION the PS4 digital version cannot upgrade. There is no option to pay RM40 for PS5 upgrade. So just pop the disc in PS5 if wanna play the PS5 version
Paid upgrade only available for PS4 digital BOUGHT from store and PS4 disc only

Another catch is they give 2 codes in 25th anni version. One is for 3 free cars, another is ps4 digital code with 1 mil credits and Yaris I think. Still got the code and not redeem yet

Ala..really?? Hmm.. I have 2 setup at home, 1 with my PS5(main rig) and the other one with PS4 Pro. I actually redeemed the code for PS4 from the Anniversary edition and played back and forth using those 2 console depends on where my kids whereabout and it is also the main reason why I opted for the Anniversary edition(apart from the nice steelbook that is).

And since I mostly booted GT a lot, I might opted for the digital edition on the PS5 one day so that the disc wont stuck forever on the PS5. That's what happened on GT Sport. Bought the physical Collector Edition day one and bought the digital when it is dirt cheap(I think it was RM39) so that the disc can safely retired on its original box for safe keeping.

Some might probably prefer for a digital upgrade to PS5 just in case they'll opt for the digital PS5 console.

@pelpiero : i think that time logitech g25 is the premium wheel. DFP is slightly pricier sebab GT and PS branding. DFP still alive until today lol ( i got too many steering wheel bases lol)

@rx330 : cafe mission is basically tutorial of the game and to unlock parts of the game modes\area. simple but annoying to old timer
