Hi, I searched but cannot find. I have the last STB white model from my Streamyx, now I changed to Unifi. Can I use the STB with Unifi playtv?

I got it going with using mouse and the built in browser to download playtv apk from apkmonk, apkplz, then use CTRL+J to open download manager.
But all can't install the apk, it come out "There was a problem parsing the package"

You mean the error for "There was a problem parsing the package" or app can't start?

TM can update the STB to support unifi playtv instead of it going to waste, since there's many streamyx user that upgraded to unifi.

Android box the only thing I'm lacking. Got smart TV, got Win 10 as media player, now got fast enough internet to stream video.
Since my subscription come with playtv I thought why not utilized it.

Playtv now block streaming from website. Can use my phone to cast to tv but worry might damage the phone in long run.
Get a cheap android box just to occasionally use playtv feel like wasting money.

Yeah... last time got hypptv but pointless since streamyx not fast enough.
Now got unifi but no compatible hardware.

There's a AUTO button, but pressing it doesn't do anything. What is it for?

I got the white color HyppTV box, according to the first page it's the last model. Got it when I subscribe to Streamyx last time.
Now my area got Unifi and I change to it. Can I use the box with my unifi ID?

I checked on Unifi site, my userid@iptv is playTV Lite.
I called TM, they say my account is only can use app to access. If want to use set-top box then have to upgrade.

Any recommended android box? I was thinking get android box instead and be done with it.

You mean what's display at TV from STB? It's Unifi TV

I read back some of the previous pages, seem Unifi playTV account can't use STB? Same as what TM people told me.
Only Unifi TV account can use STB?

The funny thing is I try login on STB with my unifi broadband password, it say wrong ID or password. But if I try login with playtv account password, it just stuck there, no message wrong ID or password, but also didn't go into the app.

Don't know if this is also part of the reason, when I change to Unifi, they give me a new ID that is different from Streamyx ID. They say can't just upgrade my account to unifi.

I tried login on the STB, when the STB start it's the big icon/button on the left, which I assume also an app since the STB is android box. But the name is Unifi TV. Just to be clear, I login in with my ID@iptv and password which is the one that I use on playTV app on my phone. On my phone I can login into playTV and watch the stream. On the STB it just stuck at login page, didn't come out wrong ID or password so means it's not wrong info but it won't log me in.

I have tried 123456 and 999999 password with @iptv when I read earlier post this morning but it say wrong ID or password. Haven't try with @tvos.

The bolded part, you mean password for @iptv that I use on playTV app or @unifi that I use on WAN setting in router? I know both password. Will try enter it on the Settings page tomorrow, now already late. Thanks for the help.
