But incompatible devices or devices on androidtv do not auto update, u need to do manually.

And yes, quality better now, many hd in 720.

Yes! The error code (105401) pops up every time I try to watch any channel or VOD title, but it worked before the update. I have messaged the team via Messenger. They ask me to try on my other device (which is my phone), but it's the phone version (V7.9.6), which is not the same version as the tablet version. I told them the situation, but they don't acknowledge that it's the technical issue. They just said that "Possible the device is not compatible with this app ya. Please try to use other phone if possible." 

I also saw that there're are users on Google Play Store complaining about this issue in the review section. I hope that they will fix it soon.

anybody here got use those wifi repeater for their official playtv box [white box from TM]? any success in installing it? asking here cause the router was install in the kitchen which is far away from the living room. complicated wiring the cable because got block by kitchen cabinet and concrete beam corners.

New playTV@unifi app can now be used with existing Unifi TV account  . The 4K channel has disappeared though.

You can install on phone/tablet then use APK extractor app to get the APK.
Netflix is already pre installed in the last firmware update. Just no way to launch it yet.

New 1.2.8 will not work for you if you have not been migrated.

If u have, unifi wud hv informed u.

Right now, only new subscribers using new stb and those migrated can use that 1.2.8.

weird.. i tried it repeatedly and still manage to access it on my mibox s.. albeit having to uninstall and install it everytime i want to access it.. maybe can try to uninstall.. turn off the device.. then reinstall it.. once installed immediately click open (ie. launch the app from playstore once successfully installed)
quality same like the old phone/tab version.. no option in the app to set video output quality..

i suggest u guys call/chat with unifi tv and ask - have you been migrated to new apps?

if u have been migrated and can't get it to work on shieldtv or mibox, that is something... the new apps are supposedly running on ATV os.

i tried on my ATV tv, can't do... becos not migrated yet.
