Astero has a lot of 4K movies? I never use them for long time. My current HD is enough for unifitv things. Netflix or disney got some 4K is good.

Even less. Most of their latest rental flicks (incl. Early Access) are FHD only.

Their 4K library is now consists of Astro Originals’ series & Love Nature 4K On Demand.

Hi guys,

Received the new box to replace the 1st gen which I'm still using. I read previous post saying that the LAN port for iptv gonna be phased out.

I'm using the old box just for the normal live TV channels so meaning I wont be able to use the old box in the future?

Tested 2.0 as a guest mode since cant seem to login to 2.0 and cant install the apps on mobile so can't watch the live TV for now and back using the old box.

What are the benefits using this new box for my usage - only for live TV?

Is the box ours? Can I install custom roms? And then install unifi tv2.0 just for the live TV.

Today only got an sms that my report has been received. Need to wait another 7 days for an update. TM so incompetent. For a public listed entity, really need to improve on response time.

Anyone know how sign up to the 30 day complementary access to the streaming apps?. I keep getting the emails and the prompts from the 2.0 app (I think) . But when I click them, I am eventually brought to login to the Unifi website and I end up unable to find any link to sign up.

However when try link my services to universe apps and it's state unable to locate my ID.

Haven't contact any customer service.

I have an issue with Unifi 2.0 + UPB. Notice can’t access playstore and I reset the box and I able access the store but after few time of off the box I can access to playstore and show connection issue for access the store. And I notice disable the WiFi connection automatically and only using LAN connection. Any ideal for this issue?

There is a Google Play issue recently. The connection issue page happened on both Unifi TV Box and Google TV. Need to clear data of Play Store app then it is back to normal. Note that if you've previously changed any settings in Google Play from default, they will be reset to default after clear data.

For some reason the Unifi TV Box keeps installing the Android TV version (com.tm.unifitv.tv) of Unifi TV 2.0 app which is not needed since the Unifi Custom Launcher (net.oregan.onyx.tm.unifi) itself is already Unifi TV 2.0. Uninstalled the app, put the box in standby mode for 10 seconds. Turn it back on and the app is back. Can repeat as many times.
