18 Sept TM SMS great news! Unifi TV has been upgraded.

i logged in using Unifi TV 2.0 apps from play store (not the TVBox)

Okay if based on your timeline, unit shall be delivered one month plus after first sms. I still have another 1 week plus to get it.

TVB Jade is now delivering in HD quality instead of SD quality initally.

Where wondering why the box comes with 100mbps Lan cable.

Agreed. Not sharp enough.

My eyes feel it is a lot sharper than initial launch where even the logo & title on top right corner were even looked very blur

But still if compared to Astro I can tell the color feel less natural

Agreed too. Still, it's not the sharpest as the Astro feed—same case as Nickelodeon & Al Jazeera English.

Even with HD, it looks like it is a 720p source (Jade), because it simply isn't sharp enough (even when I don't compare with Astro - I don't have Astro).

Well, it is slightly better than the old 576i.

Using the Unifi TV Box V3 - HP4BF
I can confirm the LAN port is 100mbps when checking on the router LAN port status - though it is connected to Cat6 cable (not using from the included box).

I received this V3 box HP4BF this week.
Trying to run usb adb to switch the default home launcher.

However, there is password asked when trying to enable the Developer Options.
Anyone know what the password is?

When I check further, it's indeed 100mbps Lan sufficient to watch 4k content as most 4k streams use 15-25 mbps.

Yes you are right technically sufficient. Of course the more the better.

Even expensive Google TV televisions have only 100Mbps Ethernet port. If Unifi TV box suddenly has 1Gbps it would be a surprise.
