Happened to me on every channel for VLan 600....for normal Vlan500 through wifi, no hiccup at all...kinda sad really....Unifi especially TM supposedly should focus more for quality of service, they actually bigger than Astro!

Yes , had the similar problem, when using the vlan 600 connection through new V2 android hybrid black box. I even called tm technician to visit home to identify the problem of the lag 2-3 minutes , but was still unable to resolve it. They had to ask another/ higher senior technician and finally got know that they already given up on maintaining or upgrading the vlan 600 port connection, and planning to closing it soon. So they suggested to use vlan 500 or WiFi connection.

However, there is trick to prevent the stuttering of the image, but only works for channel that can pause or have time shift options.
If you pause the channel for few seconds and press play to give few seconds delay from the live view, there will be no lag or stuttering anymore when viewing the channel.

Just plug in Lan port 1-3.

Port 4 is vlan600 iptv.

These only for new upb.

For white STB seems no choice, wifi not sure can use vlan 500 or not, never try on wifi.

Why Prime Video with Unifi tv very expensive RM25/month. i use prime video India, only around RM12/month. when use vpn, i can watch new movies from prime video USA or prime video UK.

if i not wrong la , white stb can use wifi/lan port for unifi tv , but 1st must set the unifi tv to unifi home in the iptv section from the setting then reboot , you will need to key in username/pass

Update! Just chat with them through the apps and ask their marketing person to call me. So this morning, the Unifi rep called me and said that they're having problems changing the family pack through their apps and asked me to check it periodically to see if it was already okay or not. sweat.gif

Regret upgrading from the white box to the black box, costing me more and problems here and there.

Problems I am facing now:
a. in changing channels, sometimes the moving circle arrow icon will appear for more than 10 seconds and then the new channel appears
b. sometimes, nothing appears, black screen
c. sometimes the bottom channel menu does not appear when the button bottom is pressed
d. sometimes "oops something went wrong ..." message appear. Restarting it will not help. Next day ok.
e. Sport TV channel : 10-20 seconds lag in visual over audio, Other channels OK.
f. sometimes I get "preview channel" message when watching BBC news and Sport TV!

I went to Unifi office to complain more than 2 weeks ago. So far no tech has come to my place to check!

Like to know who are experiencing the same a, b, c etc. If many, then system fault. If I am the only one, then more difficult for them to resolve, I think.

Do you use ethernet or wifi? I had tons of issues with ethernet, switched to wifi, no more problems - box hasn't crashed in months, before this had to reboot almost daily.

i wud suspect the box is not getting strong enuf signal.

.. what speed u on?

.. box wired or on wifi?

,, how far from router?

.. clear path or many obstacles?

if u hv netflix (or some other speedtest app), can check reception with this app; if u r getting <20mbps, that explains it.

Think you need to re-register that white box via their HQ.

I tried it once when one white box was not working well, thinking I could use the old one.

yes, install a speedtest app like ookla or fast.com, test speed it is getting.

if u hv same problem whether wifi or ethernet, probably something wrong with the box.

u can lodge report, they shud come replace it, test in front of u.

I am on the sr104f router with the Huawei BTU I tried to connect the White box to the BTU but don't work.

My mom prefer the old whitebox. Say alot easier to use.

Anyone successfully connected their white hypttv before after switching to the black UNIFiTV?

***  I agree. So much easier to get to the channel you want. Unifi user interface is going many steps backward with the black model.

Anyone successfully connected their white hypttv  before after switching to the black UNIFiTV?

Wifi only, box not connected to router via cable? If it is Unifi tv app will use dedicated connection.

dunno if any changes since last time , if you wanna change back to white box , you will need call tm to register back the mac address since vlan600 iptv marked on the mac address box.
due to black box will able registered automatically when u using it , hence the white box device is removed.

I am currently using the white box (down stairs) and the black box (upstairs).
