Yep, also the subtitles are damn big.

The new Ultimate MAX Pack is listed as one of the Unifi TV packs. Can't really access the page as it's currently redirected to Ultimate Pack page. But the detail states that it grants "access to Unifi TV app, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, beIN SPORTS CONNECT, SPOTV NOW, BBC Player, SIAR, Lionsgate Play, Viu, iQIYI at no extra cost". That's 3 more apps than regular Ultimate Pack (except for the special RM 49.90 and RM 59.90 ones).

Just now I checked, RM 89.90. Not sure which package of Netflix (Full HD or 4K) will be part of the package though.

It appears the playtv app works better over wifi than ethernet(vlan). I have complained about the app few times in this thread, couple days ago I had a thought, maybe the problems were caused by the vlan, so unplugged the cable, reboot

1; subtitles magically became bigger, prev the subs were narrow and difficult to read, now it's normal(ish). This is not optical illusion, I did test it.

2; the app feels less laggy, switching channel is slower, the spinning disk stays on longer, but navigation is def snappier.

3; catchup play back ends properly now, when the program is over, it'll switch to current program, previously it'd just crash.

Last night I tried to crash it, I couldn't. I did things that'd usually crash it: switch channel too rapidly, pausing for too long, fast forward/rewind too aggressively, didn't crash. Very strange.

BTW, it has only been 2/3 days so it's not conclusive yet so don't quote me on this.

I hear there is a cheaper option at rm69.90

Hopefully there is a way for current Ultimate users to upgrade without getting a new two year contract

For some reason, I can only get 720p when I am streaming from a 1080p device (Android TV, Netflix Certified), but on my 4K TV, I can get 4K HDR. Tested this on the same title, American Born Chinese. I presume Hotstar fucked up somewhere with their server settings, mistaknely limiting content to only 720p instead of 1080p for people without a 4K device

It's back again, but no website for it still.

Me on Onn 4K connected to FHD TV also only 720p

Saw a user complained on PlayStore the same issue

I don't think they are still unaware of this

Still rm89.90 for so much is really very good offer. I will take this.

I just send the screenshot to Unifi via Messenger, and their staff is still "checking". Will keep you all updated.

After chatting with Hotstar support, I just realised that

1 - There is a Stats for Nerds function in the app
2 - Hotstar is using HEVC for it's stream, even at 720p
