No idea when but just a matter of time only since they heavily market ulti plus and ulti max with free black box.

Black box can get free what, only need recontract 2 years only

Last few years , I was using white box and face the awful exp which the image keep jerking. The box only can use vlan 600 only, now the black box can run both type of vlan.

My white box still working, I just keep complain to them I pay unifi tv but don’t get good exp.

Eh u can try check from self care app, I remember there is a link can get free box but 2 years contract only, u can try check from there.

And also to those facing low audio comes from certain channel especially HBO , you can try use vlan 500

My audio from all channel now has higher then I used too.

I am using Sonos system and I was getting stereo from using vlan600 , now I am using vlan 500 , I getting DD 5.1 , that’s what my Sonos app stating

Seems likely , last time they need use vlan 600 due to hypptv time, now all black box can run both vlan , they start to abandon it and even the old box too

I think you can complain again to TM, if I not mistaken , everybody is entitled for a free black box as long recontract 2 years whether the current box is working or not.

And the self care web/ app is abit gila one, sometime have some error or bug.

But the only way to apply get the free box is probably from the link in the app and the web

Funny thing is I realized the black box is force hdr when I check the status from my Sony tv. Which this may answer ur concern

But the color still manageable to me since I just use the box for unifi tv only, so I don’t really mind.
The only I hate is I changed to black box and still facing recurring hiccup image and low audio from live channel using vlan 600 and now the issue solved by using vlan 500

Don’t really know if deco still have iptv port or not. To using vlan500 , just plug to normal port rather than cucuk to iptv port that u used unifi home profile in ur router.

Mine using asus xt8 still have iptv port that using unifi tv profile

I started using when I have the huawei silver box during hypptv just started when we still have syfy channel. Back then all smooth till the white box is introduced and the silver box is so laggy till I request a free white box and they gave. That’s how my hiccup video and low audio issue started for so many years till today solved using black box running vlan500.

Although mine stated in hdr, but when watch live channel, my sony tv still in my customized brightness which supposingly for sdr so no idea why as long the force hdr dint use my full brightness which may hurt my tv in a long term.

Anyway I had raise this concern to TM. Hopefully they can address it via next firmware update.

Use cheap tv also headache. Use good tv also headache lol

Did you plug the upb box with vlan500 port? , at least try to plug vlan500/non-iptv port and see it how. I really mean it , at least for my side, there is really no more hiccup and my audio has been higher than usual.

Hiccups may happen there is changes of speed/quality thru unifi tv app. TM do realized this even using wifi for unifi tv app actually not really stable at all even using 5ghz (this is tm fault). Even using vlan600 also facing the same thing at least mine. So the only way is using vlan500 which the normal port.

At least now, I can watch HBO live channel without miss crucial scene anymore when the hiccup happens every 3-5 mins.After check here and there, I also tought it’s about the framerate or TM infras problem. End up having chat with TM staff and he told me the most stable way is vlan500 and try it to see.

The only downside using vlan500 is the moment switch channel , the quality will be low and gradually back to normal

If u have the black box, just try plug the box with non-iptv port and see it how.

No solution to fix the hiccup via vlan600 and TM no really plan to fix that while they may plan close it gradually.

well when i talked with TM staff , he did told me that TM have instructed TM technician trained to recommend use vlan500 ethernet port for unifi tv especially for black box.
if vlan500 internet port unavailable , second way would be using wifi. vlan600 iptv port would be strictly for legacy box which TM technician may offer free new box with 2 year contract in courtesy when on site which i assume that was part of plan to close vlan600 port eventually.

They only acknowledge the hiccup is happen thru vlan600 for new box hence the advise above.
If not vlan600 port issue , you may need to check the ONU signal level which may cause the hiccup. Need call tech onsite for this.

For me , since i paying the unifi tv monthly , no exceptable that I watching all live channel with interruption every 3mins. Funny thing is vlan600 works smoothly for VOD.
Just like Ast** previously , cant watch during rain when legacy gen, i keep complain till they fedup and recommend discount or quit with penalty waive.

Yes , been told the same thing, the trick make sense too since vlan600 too slow that we need pause and allow the buffering and cont back the play.

Funny thing is vlan600 work perfectly for vod but so worse to live channels.

Usually vendor hired by tv channel to handle the timings of the sub. So very norm when a scene have a lot of blabbering dialogue , vendor lazy to sub that scene manually. Or else the sub material used really cancel that particular time.

Iyah tv channel must undergo censorship ma based on malaysian law. U think they wanna censor meh , wasting time and resource. They need complied with the law. Only OTT still do not included the revised law. But who knows our beloved gov may extend that hi hi hi…

Currently ott app such as hbo go is not required to undergo censorship but our law can subject to change if the gov may wanna revise it.
