I would like to get some clarifications before I sign up for Unifi 100mbps. Currently I am on Astro Maxis 10 mbps bundle & would like to migrate to Unifi.
When my TP-Link wall plug range extender is switched on, Astro IPTV automatically disconnects.

I have just purchased Tenda AC18 dual band wifi router. Internet is working & even the back rooms are having good internet connection without the use of any range extender. After installing the router. I found out that it is not compatible with Astro IPTV. Astro IPTV gets disconnected 2 minutes when I switch it on, displaying "Signal Unavailable (NCNA). Switch to another channel & it runs for another 2 minutes before it disconnects again.
Ethernet cables are plugged into Router's Port 4 & Astro's network port.
Contacted Tenda technician & Astro IPTV but nothing solved. Astro claims both Tenda Router & Tp-Link range extender are not compatible.

Does anyone subscribe to Unifi TV using their own router without encountering any problems? If so, any specific settings need to be performed? If not possible, I don't think there is any reason to pay more for the TV media box as the only reason is I would like to watch local TV channels on HD.

I need some advice on why the white HyppTV STB suddenly cannot get the IP address. Other devices have no issues to connect to the internet. Attached are some screenshots on the STB network tests.

The WIFI is ON and LAN is connected to port 4 on the D-LINK (Model Name: DIR-842) router. I tried an old STB from Streamyx days and it can get the IP but had issues on configuring the username/password. TM says need to rebind so cannot use the old STB. I have restarted all devices. TM want to charge Rm53 for sending someone over.

Anything I can do for this STB to get the IP address ? Thank you.

before ordering unifi package RM159 with STB, would like to confirm, for channel like FOX movies, Warner Bros, Paramount etc, does it have subtitle like the one in astro?

if they don't have then it's not worth for me to get this package

hi sifu here.... after i change new STB i keep on getting Message ID 201010 even though i key in the correct username and password, anyone encounter this before?

i did ask CS to unbind the MAC address, do i need to ask them tp bind the new MAC address too?

They told me when i connect using new STB it will automatically bind to MAC address, is that true?

I know it's stupid of me, but i wish i knew this before subscribing the set-top-box package..

I wanted to use unifi tv as an english listening education medium for my foreigner mate.. But then no english substitle = cannot catch up with what they're saying, since all the channels use difficult-to-listen english, even the kids channel.. Now he didnt even watch the tv & always switch it off because it's noisy.. what a waste..

Or do you know any unifi tv channels/programme that use really easy-to-listen english, for beginner foreigner?

They offer Eng subs for most of the English movies on HyppFlicks+. I know it because I have watched The Incredibles 2 and Johnny English: Strikes Again with Eng subs. 

recently just get an android box , F2 running Android 9.0 ,4GB ram 64gb ,only can play rtm1 and rtm 2.other channel , when play will appear error111...

its rooted. but i can use the function root switch to unroot it ... i can installed Unifi TV apps , just that most channel cannot watch .. only TV1 and TV2 can watch

i bricked it yesterday . bought it from Lazada and seller advised me to return for full refund ..LOL.....

now i m getting A95X Max , 4gb DDR4 64gb memory ...according to seller in shopee and lazada , it can play Unifi TV

i didnt get back the same model,i go for better model ... A95X Max A95X Max @ RM300

Need help here. Ultimate pack includes all the channels  except ala carte but why I am charge Aneka Pack (RM30) and Ultimate (RM60). Tq

If that is the case, can ask to cancel the aneka pack n pay rm30 less, which was what I did.
