QUOTE(UnifiTVFan @ Jan 11 2024, 12:30 PM) Well, you do know there's a linear channel called Mola Sport, right? It first launched on Eazie TV (Singapore), then it got expanded to Starhub TV and Singtel TV. But rumours say that those two new things launching next weeks are OTT apps. Just rumours so far. Yeah. But i was saying about golf. There's no golf if you go to Mola TV's website for Malaysia. Fwiw should be similar to how SPOTV does not show badminton on it's linear channel in Malaysia.

QUOTE(amirul hafizz @ Jan 14 2024, 05:14 AM) if VIDIO apps is very good bcoz we can watch EPL. now i use vidio for watching EPL. but i need use vpn for geo lock location. only Indonesia can watch EPL. RM18/ month for EPL and all premium channel on VIDIO. You won't get EPL, even if we get Vidio. Rights are per country, not per app/broadcaster.

QUOTE(Iptvfan @ Jan 15 2024, 06:29 PM) Maybe unifi will also take epl soon Unless they can enter Brunei, I doubt it (EPL license here is for Malaysia + Brunei). And people without Unifi (ppl who are subscribed to TIME/CelcomDigi/Maxis Fibre) will certainly complain since they can't get Unifi TV

QUOTE(Iptvfan @ Jan 16 2024, 02:05 PM) If got app why stil need cenel some people still prefer to watch "whatever on TV", instead of deciding and not knowing what to pick from the app. it's called "paradox of choice". When you have too much to choose from, you end up choosing nothing. And it's common among streaming app users.

QUOTE(Feliex @ Jan 17 2024, 10:46 AM) Digital transmission should be 60fps! Nah. PAL (which we are part of) is broadcasted at 50FPS. Only NTSC countries broadcast at 60FPS (59.994FPS). Broadcasting equipments are standardised, and tied to our electricity frequency (50Hz 240V vs 60Hz 110V). So it's unlikely we will get any 60FPS transmission.

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Jan 22 2024, 01:22 PM) TM keeps on telling me that I can't add on UnifiTV because I'm on SWU3.0. Isn't the UnifiTV a separate service to the broadband? I remember when I was signing up for SWU3.0, even if I did add UnifiTV back then, the UnifiTV will not be part of the bill waiver or discounts lol. Aren't they separate contracts too? They don't want your money Jokes aside, I think they have made UnifiTV and Unifi as a single package to get more people to sign up to Unifi, as other ISPs are cheaper

QUOTE(amirul hafizz @ Feb 1 2024, 10:32 AM) so that's mean, all sport channel can't watching. need vpn locate indonesia country for watching I mean, if you stop for a moment to think logically, how they can offer to show sports where they don't own the license here? Like, that is not really difficult to figure out.

QUOTE(peguin78 @ Feb 21 2024, 11:52 AM) I did install the Malaysian version but still no go. BTW, I cant install the Singaporean version. The google play wont allow me. Not your fault. Sometimes when BBC releases a new version of the app, the app mistakenly auto update to the SG version. Happened to me a few times as well. Celaka

Makes sense tho. It's easier to watch anime legally in SEA through youtube via MUSE Asia channel. Also remember this is not the first time an anime pay tv channel ceased to be here. AniOne also went bust

QUOTE(doubleM2 @ Apr 22 2024, 04:51 PM) Speaking of EURO 2024, soon we’ll be watching all 51 live matches on SPOTV channels & SPOTV NOW app. I presume SPOTV won't be that murah hati and it will be behind paywal, similar to Bein and Rugby World Cup. You have to pay extra to access it. This post has been edited by linkinstreet: Apr 23 2024, 10:45 AM

QUOTE(doubleM2 @ Apr 22 2024, 04:51 PM) Speaking of EURO 2024, soon we’ll be watching all 51 live matches on SPOTV channels & SPOTV NOW app. https://sg.news.yahoo.com/uefa-euro-2024-st...-043220798.htmlApparently I missed this news. For Euro SPOTV will have two new channels, SPOTV STADIA & STADIA 2. And not cheap, SGD 88 (early bird) and then SGD108. No news announced for Malaysia and it's price yet Wonder if Unifi TV will pick this up or skip it like Rugby World Cup. This post has been edited by linkinstreet: Apr 24 2024, 01:10 AM

QUOTE(doubleM2 @ May 5 2024, 10:12 PM) You’re right. Unifi TV won’t broadcast EURO 2024 on its platform (Ch 706–707). While we got complimentary access to SPOTV NOW, we still have to purchase EURO 2024 Pass separately through the app. 2 SPOTV Stadia dedicated channels will broadcast the tournament. Similar situation to beIN Sports Connect with Rugby World Cup Pass before this. "We are not official broadcaster" is a funny line. SPOTV is. But TM can broadcast it if they pay for it.

QUOTE(doubleM2 @ May 18 2024, 02:03 PM) GEM is to be ceased by KC Global Media on July 31, 2024 😔 The brand will continue as a VOD channel afterwards (for the time being). History: GEM has arrived in Malaysia: - First via silently-defunct Sirius TV circa March 2021. - Unifi TV then picked the channel on October 1, 2021. - Tonton continues to offer GEM bundled with Animax through a TontonUp subscription since April 23, 2023. Source: https://avia.org/kc-global-media-focuses-on...se-channel-gem/On demand would still be available after the linear channel enda, but I think only old shows will be available. No new shows will be added

QUOTE(Iptvfan @ May 19 2024, 06:54 PM) Like during world cup i use the rtm app klik expecting it to fail but instead it was smooth and good. Just use that app. I install in the unifi tv box already. I found it if I want to watch local TV, it's easier to just install a DVB-T2 antenna. The picture quality is miles better than streaming too, at 1080i 50FPS.
