It seems the industry is pushing consumers to jack sparrow again

i keep getting error for Hypptv the moment i change the channel, it always pop up a message written request time out , error code901004 then the tv shown back to menu page without the tv program. i have to switch on and off the STB again then i can continue watching the same channel. after a while if i change channel the error pop up again.

happens after change modem + router to upgrade to 100mbps during the "free speed upgrade" after PH won election

u mean hypptv stb or android box. if u used hypptv stb, cant error but if u used android box maybe error b'coz rooted box.

some of the channels although labeled as HD but the quality was as bad as SD especially chinese n korean channels

You got to file a complaint to TM about this. They'll assist you from there. Have you tried perhaps, use another LAN cable to connect your Unifi box to router's LAN 4 port?
If still persists, maybe they'll just replace a new Unifi TV STB for you.

Yes, it has been like that for a long time. If you search this thread it has been mentioned long ago. Already reported to TM but nothing changed.

Chinese channels have been in SD for over a year at least and most likely way longer. Last year and now.

goto to the channel you watch, before play, there's a love icon, click on it, if it turns red means it's save into your favorite list.

I did not test all, I only tested one using 'apk analyser'.

'apk analyser' tells me the signature of the apk is coming from Telekom Malaysia. So I say your scanner software ( metadefender.opswat.com ) thing is bullshit.

It is not easily to tamper TM apk and still make it work.

I tested with virustotal.com too and same trojan. I wonder if it's s false positive?

Then the so called 'virus' is built into the apk originally coming from TM. TM itself does lots of checking internally to prevent hacking, and so these anti-hacking may appear as virus.
