I'm on oneplus, android phone.
Seems like something to do with unifi network, the network seems to be barred by Lionsgate Play etc.
Once on mobile data, works fine.

I still get basic package despite created login using email and handphone from unifi a/c, what could be the problem here? I've just used desktop to activate.

Is it just me or anyone having access error to unifi playTV app?

iPhone 6s. I tried to uninstall, then reinstall the app.. then still gets the error message "user timeout" after login. I don't think it's because of my mom's unifi Home account as she pays monthly without issues. Or is it because of the recent software update of iOS 15 that I just done?

Yeah unifi playTV, the iOS mobile app only. I guess it's due to iOS 15, causing the app non-functional after all. On iOS 14 it worked before this. Meanwhile for the Android TV version it doesn't have any problem, can stream as usual.

Oh yeah. No wonder Techstorm ended up with static just now. GEM, Arirang and Animax are working. Maybe the only three channels out of the new one that are still working on the App.

Does unifi tv allow more than 2 registration of different android box from same account. Mine i register 1 on my tv n 1 on smart phone but try register another android box reject. Anyone face this problem.tq

Hi all, just want to get some opinions/answers from some users here about the new Unifi TV;

1. Will there still be sports channels? Mainly for F1

2. Is the Lionsgate Play and BBC Player mutually exclusive or can we get both as a Ultimate pack subscriber? I tried looking through the FAQs but I think anyone who has seen it can agree that they're completely useless.

3. Best user experience for the new streaming services; I currently have a non-smart 4K TV which is what the current STP box is connected to and a mother who is not the most tech-savvy person, should I;

a) Get the Unifi TV Plus box from TM at the additional RM15/month. Also, is there a way to get it from TM for free if I renew my contact? I am currently enjoying ultimate and 800mbps at RM199 so it would be great if I can continue with this price without any additional charges/changing my plan.

OR

b) Get an android STB, and if so, which would work most easily with BBC Player and Lionsgate play? Seeing some users here complain about login issues is kind of deterring me.. but I could get Netflix as well if I go with this route.

Oh no. This was a technical issue Gem would randomly froze for a bit and then be okay again. Hits Movies would have a different issue, where the images looks like the compression didn't work and is smearing and pixelated. In any case both channels works fine now

My Silver STB (which I got when I signed up to Unifi in 2010) stopped working in May 2020. I called 100 and informed Unifi. They said they will come and check. When the technicians came to my house to check the box, they said the Silver box was faulty and they will replace with a new box which was the White box. That was all.

I got the black so called upb box. So far so good. Can install apps. TM should give it to all unifitv sub for free now that they pushing streaming apps.
