I subscribe Unifi rm129 100mbps during YEP 2019. That time I think can get all Fox Sports channels but after a few months I checked on Unifi website, they throw out Fox Sport 1,2. Only got 3 for Aneka. Lucky I guess 😅

I still have the unifi white box for unifi tv

silver/white unifitv box has dedicated line - u get the relevant channels but not the "streaming" apps.

"streaming apps" like iqiyi, lionsgate can only be accessed via apps.

unifiplaytv itself is also an app.

if unifi has done good work, there should be various versions of these apps to be used on regular android, ATV, all brands of smart TV, PC, tablets, etc.

but my exp with unifi playtv... works v well on ATV but not on regular android - hard to navigate with mouse or remote, whatever... can't get full menu.

if the same will happen to iQiyi, lionsgate, u may find navigation issues when using on windows.

well, it is possible they wud have improved all versions at launch, we shall see.

For third party apps, it's the responsibility of the service provider, and not Unifi. So it will be hit and miss on how the layout/experience will be. For example TVB+ Anywhere seems to have a decent app on every kind of platform

I haven't heard of a desktop version of apps that have problem navigating, maybe my experience is not much.

This year WebOs alot of interface changing and more convenient compared with Samsung. WebOs come Disney+Hotstar but until today Samsung Malaysia still unable update it.
Samsung just know marketing trick. When u ask TV promoter, Qled is better or Oled..They will say definitely is Qled is best, oled got burn in issue. But when u ask mobile promoter which is better . Will answer you is Oled..😂😂😂😂

If the OS of the TV is your main concern, then it's better that you just stick to TVs that runs on Android TV (or newer Google TV) operating system.

Let's say if you buy Samsung TV for some reasons, but you don't like the software support, like Disney+ Hotstar not yet available on Samsung TV running Tizen OS, then you could just get a Android TV box/TV stick/Chromecast with Google TV, and it will serve the purpose for you there.

Yup..I using LG TV now with mibox s and upb. But the built in app more stable. Some of app unavailable at TV I will switch to Android box.
