Im not familiar w/ hypptv... I suppose u r referring to the hypptv stb version? Can't rem read somewhere that the server uses mac address for validation? So technically if some1 were to share w/ u his/her box mac address and supposedly they are not connecting to the server at the same time (do they check concurrency accesses?), you can access to it for testing/ viewing, if u modd ur box's mac address? Pardon for the newbie qn..

Somebody has informed me to test it using facebook account. Of course, that's not the full test and whatever applicable for facebook account may not even apply to normal accounts.

Nevertheless, based on facebook account, I have already concluded that TM app performs "signature" checking, ie soon as you modified the apk ( decompile and re-compile back and never change a single line of code), it will refuse to stream anymore.

This problem can be resolved by "faking the signature", but the coding will be involved. I am not going down this path for now. So this path for modded TM apk is death for now.

Need help here. Ultimate pack includes all the channels except ala carte but why I am charge Aneka Pack (RM30) and Ultimate (RM60). Tq

this question is a notorious one... very confusing to those who aren't aware of how they charge from the beginning.

the typically explanation is u started and paid for aneka rm30, then got free upgrade to ultimate when u signed new contract or upgraded package.

in the bill/accounts, they charge +rm60 for ultimate but with a new discount of rm60 somewhere in the bill - effect is zero.

but over time, everyone forgets.... then look at the bill... think they are charged extra.. want refund....

do look at the past and present bills carefully.

If that is the case, can ask to cancel the aneka pack n pay rm30 less, which was what I did.

I tot many were successful, but the original VAR pack must be out of contract and billed as separate item.

anybody here got use those wifi repeater for their official playtv box [white box from TM]? any success in installing it? asking here cause the router was install in the kitchen which is far away from the living room. complicated wiring the cable because got block by kitchen cabinet and concrete beam corners.

dude, your problem exactly like mine and I did not want to waste my money on repeater and etc. Called TM and told them I want to relocate my current setup, when the contractors came, you work with them personally, even the charges are different;if you can understand me
The fellars who came was indeed good and they relocated it as what I want.

The answer is in your statement. Basically you subscribed the broadband without iptv package.
